More pin designs will be unlocked as each funding goal is met. Funding is only taken if the initial £250 goal is met. Pledges are charged when the campaign ends on August 14th.
Each pin is made from dyed soft enamel. The metal is coated with a soft enamel base. Details are engraved and UV printed onto the pin creating a soft finish without the need for hard outlines.
I'm Chay, and I've been a UK Convention artist for almost 5 years. Rather than rushing to bring out enamel pins while I was still learning about product design I've waited until now to launch Pin Dex.
While many artists offer enamel pins, the dyed soft enamel pins is very uncommon but adds a softness to the style.
After testing the design process with my initial 10 designs I'm ready to launch Pin Dex properly. As enamel pins have a high cost to entry with mold fees I wanted to be certain there was demand for each design before investing. You can also choose any of these existing pins as part of your pledge without having to worry about unlocks.
SHIPPING IS CHARGED SEPERATELY WHEN THE CAMPAIGN ENDS Please consider this when deciding on your pledge tier.
Addresses are confirmed and Add-ons finalised at the end of the campaign. This ensures your shipping total is accurate for your items.
Location based price estimates:
United Kingdom: £5 - for most pledges.
America: £15-20 depending on pledge size. This service is FULLY TRACKED and INCLUDES your CUSTOMS TARIFFS.
Europe: £18+ depending on pledge size and item types. This service is FULLY TRACKED and INCLUDES your CUSTOMS TARIFFS/TAXES.
Due to recent tarriff changes for the EU there is a surcharge per item category. The charge for pins has been included in your base shipping. Please consider this charge when choosing add-ons. A surcharge of £5 per extra item type will be added. For example if you order only pins there is no surcharge. If you add acrylic charms it is a one off payment regardless of whether you order 1 charm or 10. If you add stickers it incurs its own surcharge. Item categories which incur charge:
Acrylic Keychains and Phone Charms count as one item type. You can add both and only pay one additional charge

Rest of World: £15 for most pledges. This services is FULLY TRACKED but EXCLUDES any taxes or duties. These orders may incur additonal fees from customs depending on your location.
Unless customs fees have been explicitly covered for your location you are liable for any fees that may occur upon import. Shipping will not be refunded if items are returned due to unpaid fees.
August 14th -Campaign ends, pledges are charged and payment taken (excluding shipping)
Late August/Early September - Surveys are sent out. Designs are picked, add-ons are finalised and shipping details are provided. Shipping fee is charged.
Mid September - Surveys are closed. Manufacturing numbers are finalised and sent to the manufacturer.
October -Pin production
Late October/Early November - Pins are shipped to backers. Please allow 4-6 weeks for international orders.
Updates will be provided throughout the campaign of any delays which may occur. As I have already worked with this pin manufacturer before I expect a smooth manufacturing process. I intend to begin sample production during the campaign to speed up the manufacturing process.
