We've ordered the pins and expect them to arrive in about 3 weeks. People have been taking their time with the surveys, but we're at roughly 75% submitted now – close enough to start prepping for shipment once the pins arrive.
NEXT PROJECT: DECK OF SOL
On a recent poll, we asked what our next project should be. A solar-system themed deck of cards was selected with 21% of the vote. Which was only about 6% more than the next option “Catstronauts”. I consider that a big win because people really like cats on the internet.
WINNER: Two solar system number cards shown
RUNNER-UP: “Cat Apollo” lander shown
There are some considerations for a solar system deck. For instance, there's no ONE card in a standard deck—aces exist, but they're typically high. So where does Mercury fit? If Earth is THREE and Mars is FOUR, and I've got Jupiter and Saturn as King and Queen with the Sun as Ace, how do I arrange everything else?
I have some alignment concepts and I would love for everyone to choose which is best.

We were hovering just under our goal for days—less than $100 away! It was user JUP who finally pushed us over the line… but truly, every backer helped get us there.
This has been such a fun experience for my daughter. She prefers to stay unnamed—and honestly, who can blame her? The internet isn’t always kind. But this project has become a bright little corner of the cyberscape, thanks to all of you.
