The Current Collection

Pledge for the current collection in your choice of Bronze, Copper or Solid Silver

We are kicking off the new year with this campaign after receiving many requests from collectors looking to get their hands on the current collection for a special price.  In response to popular demand and In an effort to gain momentum for upcoming projects we are offering the current collection of 4 coins in your choice of Bronze, Copper, or Solid Silver.  We are currently in the research phase for the fifth design in the collection to be launched some time in 2024.  Many of our collectors have also expressed interest in a dedicated display solution for the collection which, if the prototyping phase continues to go well, will be launching this upcoming year as well.

Each of the four designs in The Natural Philosopher Collection is a unique work of art, highlighting the beauty of the natural world and inviting us to participate in an ongoing conversation about how we interpret the universe.  The coins, the included informational booklets and the online videos celebrate the work of some of our most revered natural philosophers.   We are driven to produce objects of beauty which evoke an emotional response and enhance the lives of those who collect them.

Collection Themes

The Fibonacci Coin encourages us to look closer and appreciate the patterns around us while incorporating Natural Balance in our everyday lives.  The design incorporates a functional feature which is a tool to study nature and create original works of art and design.  Learn more about the concepts embedded in this coin at The Fibonacci Series Youtube playlist.

The Platonic Coin is rooted in countless generations of cultural expression.  It motivates us to better understand our past through the signs and symbols that have come to represent The Classical States of Matter.  Dive deeper into the meaning behind this coin at  The Platonic Solids, Classical Elements and States of Matter Youtube playlist.

The Relativity Coin asks us to consider how our perception of reality may differ from those around us.  It explores the relationship between the Sun and the Earth as two of the most tangible Frames of Reference.  Look closer at the concepts expressed in this coin at The Relativity and Frames of Reference Youtube playlist.

The Euclidean Coin reminds us that, over 2,000 years ago in Ptolemy’s Alexandria, Euclid assembled the dispersed geometrical works of his Greek counterparts in a single comprehensive book.  Euclid’s Elements survives as a pinnacle of cultural expression, proving that well designed artifacts can preserve the best of long lost civilizations.  The Euclidean Coin is a unique work of art that embraces the elegance inherent in mathematical reasoning and geometric construction. Amidst the chaos and complexity of contemporary life, Finding Center is but a few simple steps in the making.  Explore the inspiration behind this coin at The Euclidean Geometry Youtube playlist.

Philosophy

The Coincide collection is born from the idea that every object should be an instrument of learning, both for the creator and the collector. The products are evidence of a process that merges the questions of an artist and the solutions of a designer.

Make better, not more. Timeless themes are carefully researched, interpreted and expressed as original works meant to be carried for a lifetime and inspire for generations. We strive to carve a niche at the coincident of art and design, applying complementary methods in the same place at the same time.

The synthesis of these goals, combined with the philosophy that well-made objects are part of a sustainable path, shapes the approach we take. Aware of the resources consumed in the creation of any object, each product has been carefully analyzed and must share three main attributes:

1.  it has to be collectible
2.  it has to encourage learning
3.  it has to continue to do the first two for generations
