Well... It's been a minute, hasn't it? Summer is almost over, we've had a ton of work, some health-related delays, computer issues, but I can finally post this update because there's been progress, and lots of it!

I'm not showing you all of them but I hope this small sample gives you an idea of how the game will look! Basically, we wanted a look that said "this game could be left in the room of a grand hotel and not be out of place" and I think we've managed that so far. All that is left now is to finish off the box's design, slap a barcode on it (which is more complex than you'd think) and send it to the printers. We've completely blown our timeline with them, so I'm not completely sure how long the printing of the boxes will take, but I think I can go on a limb and say we'll have the games before Christmas? Then there will be the matter of sending them to you, which might take a little while longer depending on where you live. And I'm not going to mention the tariffs thing before we get to that point, because who knows what state the world will be in by then (what a weird and scary sentence to type).
I'll write another update once the printer sends me the games; at that point, I'll open up BackerKit's late pledge system, so you can review your order, update it if needed and pay for shipping fees.

Eh bien... Ça fait un moment, pas vrai ? L'été touche à sa fin, on a eu plein de boulot, des problèmes de santé, des problèmes d'ordinateur, mais je peux enfin écrire cette mise à jour car nous avons avancé, et plutôt beaucoup que peu !

Je ne vous les montre pas toutes, mais j'espère que ce petit échantillon vous donne une idée de ce à quoi le jeu ressemblera ! En gros, nous voulions un look qui disait « ce jeu pourrait être laissé dans la chambre d'un grand hôtel et sembler à sa place » et je pense que jusqu'ici, c'est plutôt réussi. Tout ce qu'il reste à présent, c'est de terminer le design de la boîte du jeu, y mettre un code-barres (ce qui est plus compliqué que vous ne le penseriez) et l'envoyer à l'imprimeur. Nous avons largement dépassé les délais avec celui-ci, je ne suis donc pas totalement sûr du temps que ça va prendre à imprimer tout ça, mais sans trop me mouiller je pense que nous aurons les jeux avant Noël ? Et vous aussi sans doute, étant donné que l'envoi en France métropolitaine ne devrait pas prendre trop de temps !
J'écrirai une autre mise à jour quand l'imprimeur m'enverra les jeux ; ce sera le moment pour moi d'ouvrir les late pledges du jeu, pour que vous puissiez avoir un récapitulatif de votre commande, la mettre à jour si nécessaire, et payer les frais de port.
En attendant, portez-vous bien, et soyez sûr.es que je pense à L'Hôtel du lion rouge presque chaque jour !
