Lich #3: Lord Valefor the Protector (Sekaijucon pics!)
Today's backer preview bring the third lich of our lineup!
But before moving to that, we'd like to show something off. We brought Arcton to a local convention for the first time since Backerkit! Thank you to everyone that stopped by to talk tabletop and support us!

Here we offered the book and the first postcard prints of the liches, the emblem sticker sheet, as well as the option to get the Arcton map and the Arcton coin ahead of time.
Rest assured however, Backers will get first dibs on a revised edition of the book, as well as plenty more finalized goodies besides the ones we brought here, so hang on tight!

We have a few more local cons we'll be bringing Arcton to this month, but we're still hard at work during the week with the Encounter kit. Building up the community has been very helpful for feedback, and we'd love to count on our backers for first looks at the Solo campaign and booklets before we release them officially! Let's keep going!
Cosmo is hard at work finishing up the illustrations for Weymiss the Merciful's Officers and is nearly done with the Arcton Character Cards. After that, it's full speed ahead to finish cards for the Hulse Booklet and other stretch goals like the Solo campaign: The Helm of Echoes (Which I'm helping write!)
Before we show you any sneak peek of those, we'll be continuing to post previews of the next 6 liches through the month leading up to the spooky month of October- which is the current estimate of when we finish up everything for fulfillment.
In the meantime, we wrap up the week to give our backers a preview of Fraye, the capital of Arcton, where Hakon, Tarantella and Ceilli reign.
Next week, we'll show off our next Lich! (Hint hint, this next one is going to have more combat potential!)
Discord Server Open for Backers! + PREVIEW: The Lich Officers of Fraye

Today we'd like to open up the doors to our humble Discord server for our backers, where we hope to post the weekly previews we have lined up of new content including the new character cards of the Encounter kit we're putting together among other previews that simply wouldn't fit in just these update posts!
We'd also love to talk tabletop games with you all, worldbuilding brainstorms as well as hearing your own thoughts about the project! Check out the exclusive content for backers in today's post to join in!
Speaking of previews, today we bring you a exclusive sneak peek at Hakon's Officer and celebrity superstar of Fraye Tarantella and his student and backup musician Ceili. Yes, we have bard necromancers here in Arcton.
Hello everyone! I'm Stellar, Cosmo's partner in crime, and I'm going to be helping with managing more Backerkit posts so Cosmo can focus on working hard on the rest of the Arcton Encounter kit!
As of today, all 8 Liches of Arcton are now fully illustrated, and we're excited to introduce them to you in these upcoming updates alongside their officers (11 out of 14 officer illustrations done) and regions they respectively rule. They're all very diverse from their aesthetic, the magical domains they master and the various flavors of horror they encapsulate. There will most definitely be a lich for all the different campaigns you'd want run in Arcton, whether they be combat heavy scenarios or dramatic social encounters that rely on wits and investigation, so check back often to see them all and decide which you like best!
For this update, The lich we're introducing for our backers is Hakon the Conduit, representing Arcton’s foreign interests and affairs in gatherings and political meetings. This lich inhabits the prison of Ironnorth and oversees the region of Fraye, the capital of Arcton.
Along Wemyss the Merciful, Hakon is meant to be an approachable lich for players to face early on, as its influence is more political and the ways you can "fight" it can take on more social approaches. But just like any enemy, you can absolutely go for the hit-it-'till-it-falls route if that's what the players want to do!
For the next update this week, we'd like to talk about Hakon's officers and the capital of Fraye so you can have a bit more context of what you can expect for your player characters arriving to the city.

June was a bit of a rough month due to some health and family issues, but we're back and trucking! My first backerkit has officially been fulfilled this month, and I'm working on the missing art for the expansion kit + bonus games. (TLDR, Things are moving, but I apologize for the unintended delay. )
As mentioned in the campaign, the Overview book is complete. That being said, last month, I polished some of the art for the Backerkit edition, so it'll look even nicer than before!
For now, backers get a look at one of the liches! We'll start with Ingala and the caretaker of the region I tend to recommend for beginner stories: Wemyss the Merciful. Weird name for a lich, huh?
We're also going to be working on the Discord server this week, so DMs and TTRPG players can more easily exchange theories and ideas. I could also actively share concept work and plot hooks, so the goal is to create a respectful exchange between worldbuilders and creators. Keep an eye out for that!
Whoopee!! The manufacturer managed to add the coins to the pin order, and WOW WOW WOW!
These also arrived today, and my goodness, they're heavier than I expected, and have such a great textured feel to them.
Proper photos will be uploaded soon, I'm just in a bit of work-crunch until Monday (giving a class/networking event on Saturday for animation, Pride2026 on Sunday to boot), but I just wanted to ride this high and show everyone the amazing result!
