Hello! Tokii here! I've been communicating back and forth with our manufacturer on the unique effects we'll be executing for our pins this project. Namely, the gradient transparent pins.
Which will be the Manananggal, Ibong Adrana, and Agbarbaranggay designs.
We want to remind that every pin that is recieved, is hand mixed, and handmade by a real person, and that though we strive for the best accuracy for the design in mind, there will be slight variations. Each pin especially for gradients, peals, and the rare gradient transparent pins there will be slight variations to the final product. The enamel is liquid and flows naturally during the filling process, so some variation is inevitable, and it cannot be guaranteed that each pin will be identical.
We're still reviewing and going back and forth with proofs on our manu, but production will be starting up very soon! Throughout the process we will have some behind the scenes videos and photos as everything is being made. So looking forward to seeing all of these niche lores come to life!

We'd like to wish you all a belated happy 4th of July - one that had the perfect amount of fireworks to satisfy your needs whether that be many or none at all ;> The Funding period for Filipino Folklore has officially come to a close, and we are thankful to each and every one of you that helped this project come to life! - This campaign very nearly became our most backed ever falling shy of our record by only 9 backers, so we are both wowed and honored that you all have shown so much support and love for this niche project. <3
Survey Stuff:
Over the next few days we'll be making some final preparations for the upcoming Summer Sale, but once that's ready for review we'll be dedicating our time to setting up the survey for this campaign. Fingers crossed the first few smoke tests for the survey will be sent out on the 16th, and Lord willing no hurdles come up from that we'll be letting loose the rest of the surveys by that Saturday on the 18th.
Once surveys are live you'll have two weeks to answer and submit them. By August 1st (presuming we're able to stick to our schedule), we'll be locking payments and surveys ;>
We'll try not to forget to send updates occasionally as we progress through the survey process, and once that is over we'll continue updating through the production and fulfillment processes too!
One last little detail, The Lampong pin will be made available to unlock during the survey phase of this campaign - we didn't quite hit the stretchgoal to unlock it, but we had some life-altering moments that kept Tokii and me from doing our part of the heavy lifting. If unlocked, the people that added it to their pledge will receive it with their order. If not the people that did add it to their pledge will not be charged for a pin that hasn't been unlocked.

Currently we have a few projects and events to keep eyes open for; The upcoming Summer Sale being the one on the immediate horizon. During this sale you can expect to see some huge deals on big pin bundles from our previous campaigns as well as the opportunity to pick up a few individual items that you may have missed out on. Everything offered is either at a special summer sale discount, not yet available on our Etsy page, or in most cases? - both! A little while later we're coming back to you with new projects in the works! Our nearest project will be during the Pocket Change event and it is called Mini Myconids! This campaign will focus on making fun little guys of different edible and inedible mushroom species from the real world - So whether you're a fan of eating Portobellos or a partaker of admiring Destroying Angels from a safe distance, this project will have something fun for you! Plus little guys are just fun even if you're not a mushroom enthusiast :> Click the image below to follow the project, set to launch on August 6th!
Finally, something brand new - never before announced! We'll be peaking closed eyes into the land of nod with our upcoming Limbo of Dreams campaign - a project focused on sleep disorders; learning about them, sharing what we learn, making pin designs of symptoms and conditions, and raising funds to be donated to a narcolepsy charity yet to be announced... Medicines for people with narcolepsy, very often needed for them to function at all in their day to day lives, are ridiculously expensive. Something that Tokii and I know about personally, The charities we're looking into help get those medicines to the people that need them at a significantly lowered price. Because of these charities our own price goes from a monthly $XX,XXX to $0. Our business and our lives would not be like they are today if not for them, and it's time for us to give back what we can. Limbo of Dreams is due to launch October 20th during the wonderful Pintober 2026 event :> -
I'd like to start out this update by saying how truly blessed we are to have you guys for our audience. Last week was not easy, but you all made it more manageable for us with your kind words, patience, and understanding. We still have our rough moments from time to time, but there comes a point where we have to balance our grieving with our responsibilities - I think with the funding period of this campaign coming close to it's end that the time to find that balance is now.
Even though we're back on task, please rest easy knowing that we won't neglect our emotions or energy for the sake of our work. I promise that we'll take good care to monitor ourselves and rest when we need to.

Now on the topic of wrapping up this campaign, We're hashing out some final details with our manu's, getting ready for post-campaign tasks, and making some new arrangements for the stretchgoals we set for this campaign.
We had intended to put out a few social media advertisements to assist your guys' word of mouth in the march of progress towards our goal of beating our backer record and unlocking those delicious stretchgoals. However, we were not available to do this in a timely and impactful manner. Because we were not able to get this done we wanted to open an alternate avenue for those stretchgoals to be unlocked and have decided to do something similar to how we handled the end of Periodic Pinups; For any achievements yet to be unlocked by the end of the campaign, we will make them available to unlock on the survey as stretchgoals there as well. That way if we aren't able to reach our goal it will still be possible to get your hands on the exciting items with a little bit of teamwork from the community ;>
I WAS going to say how we don't have any art updates right now, but Tokii worked her art magic and got the Lampong pin colored before I could finish this update 💀
As a final note, we're getting ready for the upcoming Summer Sale, we would absolutely love any specific requests from you guys in regards to what you'd like to see included - We can't offer anything from campaigns that haven't been fulfilled yet, so that leaves the following campaigns;
Hello Backerkit, Tokii and I will be taking the rest of this week off from work to allow ourselves time to grieve. Our dog, Rowdy, unexpectedly and suddenly passed away Wednesday morning. We hope to get back with you all on Monday.
