Legends of Akeroth has crossed a major milestone!

The core rulebook has returned from our editor, and we're now in the final review stage. This is where everything comes together:

📖 Final File Review - Ensuring every word is exactly right, every rule is clear, every section flows perfectly
🎨 Artwork Details - Reviewing all illustrations and making sure they're positioned perfectly, sized correctly, and absolutely stunning

We're in the home stretch. Once this final review is complete, we'll have the finished manuscript ready for the next production steps.

Very close. The smoke tests happened, the editor has done their work, and now it's all about final polish! Each day brings us closer to getting this game into your hands.

We'll have more concrete timelines to share very soon. The momentum is building, and we can feel how close we are to the finish line.

Legends of Akeroth is moving forward faster than ever, and this month marks some major milestones!

Legends of Akeroth is officially moving into beta! The manuscript is heading to our editor, which means no more major changes will be made to the core systems or structure.

We're locking in the foundation of the game. From here, it's polishing, refinement, and bringing everything to its final form.

If you're a backer, keep an eye on your inbox! Surveys are being sent out so we can confirm your pledge details, shipping address, and any add-ons or upgrades.

If you haven't received your survey yet, don't worry - they're going out in batches. Make sure to check your spam folder, and if you have any questions, reach out to us at [email protected].

If you chose to pay over time, your survey will be sent out once payment is complete, so don’t panic if you don’t see it just yet!

The Clock tracker is now available on Sanctum, our digital hub, for you to use in your games!

Use the clock tracker to manage growing threats, upcoming events or ongoing tasks throughout your game. You can find and use clocks in all kinds of ways during your adventure, for both narrative and gameplay benefits.
 
More features will be added to Sanctum for Legends of Akeroth as time goes on so keep your eyes peeled!

We're moving way faster than we expected with this game, and the momentum has been incredible! We're so excited to keep refining and expanding the world of Erwick.

Over the last 2 weeks of playtesting Ash has written and sent out 20 versions of the Alpha so it has now moved the game officially into Beta with all new layout to better depict how the final book will look internally! This brings us one step closer to a final version.

All the Core Rulebook based stretch goals have also been completed which is huge for the game and means the timeline Ash had in mind for Core is speeding along.

Ash has also added two brand new classes to Legends of Akeroth as a thank you to everyone’s support:

⚔️ The Gunslinger - Precision, powder, and pure skill. The Gunslinger brings firearms and tactical expertise to the battlefield.

📖 The Sage - Knowledge is power. The Sage masters arcane secrets through the art of tarot.

Artwork for these classes is still in progress, but we wanted to give you an early look at the sketches:

Wow, that was a crazy ending to the campaign!! We went into overtime for a good while and here is what we managed to achieve as a community:

It was the best thing to witness and I want to give a personal thank you to all of you. Your passion for Legends of Akeroth has been outstanding and I cannot believe we went for over 30 hours into overtime!!

This isn't the suprise (You can keep scrolling for that) but we wanted to show something we planned on but never got round to doing but who knows??

We are going to be taking a small break as a team but this just means we're slowing down on big tasks as we still have tons of work to do! However.... Be sure to scroll down to see a suprise for all of you!

You did it. 24 hours of overtime sustained!

But that's not all.

This is beyond anything we imagined when we launched this campaign. We are truly so grateful to have a community that's pushed this project to such extraordinary heights.

And with that milestone, we've unlocked something that bridges two worlds:

The Astral dragon, the Aura dragon, the Mirror dragons, the Moon dragon, the Pyre dragon, the Shard dragon, the Storm dragon and the Sun Dragon, are now officially part of Legends of Akeroth.

This is a brand new story expansion, in which the 8 dragons of Batesian have created their lairs within the kingdom of Erwick. Now, your hero can battle their way through each dragon’s unique dungeon, to unlock unique loot and unlock the secret 9th dragon’s lair.

This digital crossover is now yours, included for every backer, regardless of your tier. Physical copies will also be available as an add-on.

And because you sustained 24 hours of overtime, we've also unlocked Fields of Erwick - the cosy, standalone solo RPG zine!

Fields of Erwick is your peaceful escape into farming, ranching, and fishing in the kingdom of Erwick. No combat. No quests. Just the quiet satisfaction of tending your land and watching it flourish.

This is a standalone zine, which means you don't need the Core Rulebook to play it - though it is set in the same world. It's a complete experience on its own, perfect for cosy game lovers or people who just want to try something new!

The digital PDF will be available to all backers, regardless of your pledge tier!
Artisan Edition and Collector's Edition backers will receive a printed copy for FREE, and all other backers can get a physical copy as an add-on!

We're not stopping yet. The next overtime milestone is 36 hours, and when we reach it, we're unlocking:
The Printed Sticker & Map Set.

This is a physical set of reusable stickers and maps featuring pixel art assets from Legends of Akeroth. Use them to build your own camp, design your own farm, create your home base, or lay out your party's encampment on the map.
