HEY everyone sorry this did not get posted...once again this was a completely typed up update that I thought I published but I didn't!!

The pins came out super disappointing and the manufacturer is remaking almost all of them because of it, only the catfish had a really low flaw rate but all of them weren't made nearly as sparkly as promised (the biggest feature of the pin) and there's a ton of metal chipping issues. The print of the facets is also super grainy, more than usual and not lined up so there's huge white outlines. The snake's giant head gem and the dragon's frame's outline also shouldn't have been printed inside but they were

So they arrived a couple weeks ago but we needed to sort through our shipment (the angel pin was made with them) and Midnight Springs took videos of each one of them to send to the manufacturer to show all the issues, so that was over 300 pins, sorry for how long that took. 

Here are some of the repeated issues:

So they're remaking enough of every single design to cover those that were ordered and also another potential flaw rate of up to 40% because the colorful metal just has a lot of issues in general. 

Changes being made: black glitter enamel eyes instead of printed glitter eyes, more glitter everywhere, more attention paid to plating, more attention paid to how the print lines up, light purple frame outline for dragon will be glitter enamel instead of print, big gem on snake forehead will be completely clear no glitter or anything. It was that way on half of the proof but the other half showed printing in it for some reason so they agreed to fix it

Since Chinese New Year is coming up all the factories are in a hurry and I think that's why these were rushed. The rep was really understanding though and they're faster than the company that's taking forever to remake the jumping spiders so we should have these corrected before February hopefully [that didn't happen but they're shipping next week]. The molds look really good and the pearly blue in the catfish looks awesome, and it's hard to see in pics but the snake pupil really is shorter than the clear enamel like I wanted so that's cool, so hopefully better communication makes the next pins much nicer

this was just finished this week, and the remakes are almost completely done and look much better, so once those arrive I can start to fulfill!! We have to go to Katsucon first though unfortunately so I apologize for the additional delay

Hey, just a quick update that I'm trying to pay for the pins but no final invoice from the rep yet. I was quoted before already but I still need a final invoice set up before I can actually pay them. Will update again when production has really started

I'll send out the survey ASAP next month! There'll be some other stuff on there too like other collab stuff I've done years before that there is stock left of, like keychains and T-shirts.


Thanks everyone for helping with the project and believing in my designs, once I have these first ones funded and can show what the effect actually looks like then I'll try doing a 2nd part. But for now I'm still pretty confident we will safely get the garnet snake funded too through the survey funds. 

Hi everyone, the campaign is ending today!

It was an accident because the calendar UI date selector thing wasn't working properly but I'm going to be running 3 hours longer than Monster Girl Riot. We didn't realize until last week and by then it was too late to fix lol

I'll make sure that the snake is funded no matter what even if it has to be through survey funds, but the closer we get before the campaign ends the closer we get to maybe unlocking the frog with survey funds too.
