Presenting our newest bag design: Meow Carousel! The Meow Carousel Plush Bag is a cat shaped plush purse with many lovely details to invoke the feeling of a carnival carousel. The bag is designed in a carousel horse-like pose with limbs up and bent as if suspended on a pole. It has a removable shoulder strap and a zipper pocket so it's both cute and functional!

The Meow Carousel Bag is 16 inches in length and around 14 inches tall from lower paw to crown top. It features soft faux fur with felt and embroidered details on the eyes and paws. It features satin ribbons on the ears, tail, and saddle. The saddle is custom printed with carnival stripes. There's braid lace and tassel trim decorating the saddle. It comes with a matching removable nylon shoulder strap.  The internal pocket has a maximum length of 8 inches. It can fit a 4.25in x 3in wallet and a 6in x 4in smartphone. 

There are 5 bag colors available for this crowdfunding campaign from the start:

The shoulder strap, custom printed saddle, braid lace, tassel trim, and metal color will be customized to reflect these color changes. A survey will be sent at the end of the campaign to record your color decision. The final arrangement of detail colors may change during final sampling but the base color of ribbon & fur will stay the same.

The funding goal of this project is $6800 USD. This campaign is all or nothing so if this goal is not reached, this project cannot be made and all pledges will be cancelled. Please note, you'll be charged at the END of the campaign.

This goal will cover: The bulk plush production order ($3,200), CPSIA testing to ensure the bulk plush is safe for entry into the US ($1,250), additional sampling of the extra colorways ($500), overseas shipping ($1,300), and transaction fees (5% plus any potential margin of error). There are many costs associated with producing this plush and all its colors so it's very important this goal is met to make this product realized.

The Meow Carousel Bag is $115 USD.

The a discounted Early Bird special will be available for pledges within the first 24 hours for $105.

3 inch glossy vinyl stickers will also be available in every funded colorway for $5.

If the campaign is successful, we can produce even more colors of the bag!

Thanks to your support, we've unlocked all the initial stretch goals! I've decided to add one last colorway to the campaign: Harlequin! At $15,600 USD, we'll make Harlequin (Diamond patterned ribbon & black fur) I'll be producing a sample of this colorway regardless of if this goal is reached but reaching the goal helps me fund the bulk order in its entirety immediately with the other colors!

This timeline can be shorter or longer depending on how production is but this is generous timeline to account for any potential delays in producing the bags.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES:

Due to the size and weight of the cat bag, US shipping costs are estimated to start around $20 USD and International shipping costs may START at $40 USD for insured tracking due to the size and weight of the bag. Stickers alone with are estimated to start around $3 USD for the United States and $15 USD for international.

Dandy Puppeteer (https://www.dandypuppeteer.com/) is a US-based indie brand that focuses on Japanese Lolita, Ouji, and Alt-Fashion. It's run by one artist, Tiffany, who designs everything. She was inspired by carnivals and other J-Fashion plush bags. After 3 years of iterative work, this design was finally completed. This is her fourth crowdfunding campaign.
