New Backer Update:

EPICFORGED Pocket EDC Organizer by Dapper Design

Welcome to our 8th Dapper Design project and 26th overall crowdfunding campaign! 3 years ago under the ZeroHour brand which Aaron co-founded, launched and successfully funded on Kickstarter the first ever EDC Organizer featuring a grid-style storage system with expansion & compression zipper. It was received very well with more than 4,700 backers and delivering over 10,000+ organizers!

The ZEROHOUR EDC Organizer that started it all!

What is EDC?

There are many different definitions for the acronym "EDC", but in this project we mean "every day carry," a collection of useful items that are consistently carried on person every day. The main reasons for having EDC are utility and preparedness; to help individuals overcome simple everyday problems, and to prepare someone for unexpected and possibly dangerous situations. The Problem

During our search for an organizer to carry our own EDC products, we've learned that there are a lot of great organizers out there. However, there were two problems we encountered:

1) There wasn't an organizer small enough to carry a lighter load that also gave us the ability to expand to carry larger items when we needed to.

2) We found that a lot of organizers featured similar, limited strap configurations on both sides of their inner compartments. We wanted more strap versatility.

This is what led us to design our own.

The Solution

Introducing the new and improved, compact EPICFORGED Pocket EDC Organizer Pouch! Available in 8 different two-tone 1000D fabric color-ways!

Traditional colors:

Black, Khaki (tan), Green, and Gray

High-visibility colors:

Lime Green, Red, Pink, and Purple

EDC organizers come in various sizes and capacities but ours is one size with dual capacity. So what we did was we took the expansion zipper feature from our ZIP Travel Waist Pack project back in 2017, and put it into the organizer...

This extra zipper is designed solely for expanding or collapsing the overall depth of the bag to give you more or less space for storing items. This helps you add larger things such as bandages and medicine bottles, or to save space when you’re traveling or packing light.

Elastic grid-style straps isn't new to the storage industry, however to the best of our knowledge, they have never been used inside of a zippered EDC organizer until now...

Our multipurpose EDC organizer provides you with plenty of storage straps for storing and securing all the little things you’ll need to provide emergency repairs, keep your tech device cables organized, or simply be better prepared for any camping or survival activities.

We know that you might use this all-purpose EDC carry bag for some pretty serious outdoor or emergency response needs which is why it has high tear and puncture resistance and designed with reinforced zippers and pulls. Our organizers are made with 1000D fabric.

On the outside of our rugged EDC organizer pouch you’ll find a Velcro (hook & loop) patch area that will let you attach one of your favorite patches such as a country flag, military unit, military branch, red cross, or a patch from the best TV show ever!

Patches seen here are for educational purposes only. Patches not included.

Made with water-resistant 1000D fabric to help keep your gear drier on the inside when you’re traveling, working outside, or stuck working in a bit of inclement weather like rain or snow.

Please Note: The organizer is NOT waterproof and does not float on water.

Each EDC organizer features thick pulls attached to the zipper base with reinforced silicone wrapped around them for added strength and pull resilience.

Our organizer allows a wider range of emergency response or outdoor travel gear while also adding a sleek, trendy look that matches its toughness.

Travelling? Expand the organizer and pack it with your toiletries. Perfect for short trips and carry-on TSA approved items.

Size Comparison: ZEROHOUR vs. EPICFORGED

The primary difference between the original ZH Organizer and the new EF Pocket Organizer is the compact size (for your smaller pocket-sized everyday carry items) and more color options in two-tone colorways to better fit your style.

After the campaign, all backers will provide shipping information and confirm pledge rewards, where we will offer the opportunity to purchase additional EDC Organizers, Dapper Design & EPICFORGED products, and other accessories (ADD-ONS) to ship together with your reward. Instructions will be provided at the end of the campaign in a backer update.

We understand that putting together a Survival Kit by purchasing items one-by-one yourself can be tedious. So to make things easier, we've teamed up with a manufacturing partner and put together an awesome package for you. The 7-Piece Survival Kit ADD-ON will include the following items:

Please check with your country's knife import laws before purchasing the Basic Survival Kit ADD-ON. The knife specifications are as follows: It is a folding knife that has a flipper tab for one-hand operation, there is a liner-lock that keeps the blade locked when opened, and the blade's total length is 3.25 inches / 8.25 cm.

In the event that the knife is not allowed in your country, you will have the option to purchase the ADD-ON without the pocket knife.

Here are some of the Amazon reviews of the original EDC organizer made in 500D fabric. The EPICFORGED Pocket EDC Organizer Pouch is smaller and upgraded to 1000D fabric which is more durable.
