We're at the printer! Well. Not us, physically. That would be odd, at this time of night. But the file is on their hard drive, which is the part that matters.
After some deliberation, we decided to go with local, Portland-based printer: Eberhardt Press. You may already know their work; they're the ones who cranked out all those gorgeous copies of Bestial Hordes, which is sitting on some your shelves right now.
Why Eberhardt? We love supporting small, local businesses. We got to meet the proprietor in person, he sent us a proof, and let me tell you: the blacks are blacker and the reds are bloodier than we could have hoped for.

We've been hard at work 🐝 getting Bloodstarved ready for print. Here's an admittedly unglamorous but nonetheless important update.
If You Haven't Filled Out Your Survey...
First, a huge thank you to everyone who already has. We're currently sitting at a sexy, 87% survey completion. If you've already submitted yours, congrats. You are officially part of the "helpful people who make projects move forward" club.
If you haven't filled out your survey yet... this is the number one thing we're waiting on before we can wrap everything up. The survey takes just a minute. You can finish it while waiting for the 'Skip Ad' button to appear on that Youtube video. Hup to it!
Every backer should've gotten the survey email by now. If you didn't, check that spam folder. Or email me at [email protected] .
Order-Locking Is Coming Soon
Over the next few days, we'll begin locking orders and charging cards so we can send everything off to the printer. You'll see some Backerkit emails about this.
Once orders are locked, you'll still be able to update your shipping address if you move.
Trouble Choosing Local Pickup?
A few people have run into this, so here's the trick:
When entering your shipping information, don't choose United States from the Country dropdown. Instead, select Local Pickup. This will let you pick up your book at the Dark Future store in Portland.
If it still refuses to cooperate, send me an email at [email protected] and I'll get you sorted out with the least amount of four-letter words possible.

The next update should involve far fewer surveys and far more "your books are being printed," which is objectively the more glamorous kind of update.
First things first: a huge shout out to you all for helping make Bloodstarved a reality. Thanks to you, we're green-lit. We're going to production, and we CAN NOT WAIT to get this into your hands so you can start playing.
But before we can start cranking out books and licking stamps, a few things need to happen. Here's the skinny:
1. Backerkit sends us the money This pays for your goodies (i.e. books, fangs, and stickers). Backerkit can take up to two weeks to complete this step.
2. We need to know where to send said goodies We’ll send out a BackerKit Survey to collect this info. Please fill it out as soon as you can. We need this info to process your rewards. The sooner everyone answers, the sooner we can get everyone their loot.
A few notes about the survey:
You don’t need a BackerKit account to answer your survey.
Switch-o-change-o? No problemo. Need to change your survey responses or update your shipping info? You can. Click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page.
Do you use Facebook to log in to Backerkit? Backerkit sends the survey link to the email address tied to your Facebook account. If you'd rather use a different email address, contact me at [email protected] .
