I have high hopes for this campaign. There’s three variants for Mothman, two variants for Fresno Nightcrawler, a goose, Squonk, and Loveland Frogman designs laid out. Glow, pearlescent, hard and soft enamel, Screenprint details. You also have the opportunity to unlock not one but TWO freebie mini pins! Plus pre launch followers, returning backers and early birds get different free stickers added.

Based on votes I decided to make the levels as followed. We will unlock each cryptid before we start unlocking new variants! This way you’ll have the best chance at a varying assortment once the campaign ends. Mothman first and then nightcrawler since his repress is the cheapest. Currently planning goose then frogman then squonk, but the polls still open! Squonk lovers and frogman haters speak up before we reach those levels if you want them swapped! After the five molds are all unlocked, we will work towards Mothman Jr. and Fresno Girlie variants next. Fresno Girlie is to match Flatwoods Girlie my collab partner Obcollectors is doing. And then lastly is Mothman Silverscreen, a timeless gray and silver Mothman true to the classic
Mothman Noire will be hard enamel with black nickel metal, glow eyes, pearlescent antennae
Fresno Nightcrawler has returned! The mold is already made so this will be easier to unlock. This time he’ll be pressed on black nickel metal and still come with that full glow glory like before.
The goose is an honorary cryptid. He will come with full white glow and HONK will be screenprinted in the same shade as his feathers to create an effect where it’s only really noticeable when he’s glowing.
The Loveland Frogman unlocks at $1000. He’ll have more details but here’s a good outline of what he will be like. We can vote on his finish once he unlocks!
Squonk if a pig creature so ugly and so sad. He never stops crying and sometimes dissolves into a puddle of tears, as captured here. Tear puddle will be Screenprint to cover lines and help keep the dissolving into each other look going.
Now that all five cryptids are unlocked, let’s meet some variants! Here we have the grown up version of my first Mothman pin, Mothman Jr. with Screenprint details to match his wings to my old design. Also unlocking is Fresno Girlie, with her long lashes and purple metal. She spends her day with her bestie gal pal Flatwoods Girlie from Obcollectors campaign.
Finally we have Mothman Silverscreen. Throwback to the classic silver and gray coloration of Mothman lore, I planned on him unlocking third. However the poll results were overwhelmingly in favor of every single design except him. So he’s here at the end as a fun stretch goal to reach. If we start getting close, perhaps I’ll draw up some more friends for Mothman to invite over?

This is my second backerkit campaign but I’ve also had many successful preorder campaigns on Etsy! One day I decided to start making pins as a way to fund my ever growing pin collection. Since then I’ve branched into other manufactured products with my designs and even started selling my paintings. Sharing my art with others makes me happy. I also really love using it as a way to donate to marginalized communities and animal shelters. I’ve always had a love for weird creepy things. In 2022 I did a Cryptid collab with Pinque from Paw Pins & Designs. I produced Mothman and Fresno Nightcrawler pins and she did The Jersey Devil and Loch Ness Monster. We had two variants of each design, one colored by her and one colored by me. My Mothman was a small fluffy boy who hadn’t grown into the harbinger of doom he will become with this campaign.
