Every game gives the table a scoring board and each player a bonbon sheet. The scoring board changes what a great tray looks like: you might be building groups, completing patterns, connecting the right chocolates or racing to finish an objective before everyone else. There isn't one β€œperfect” tray to build.

The fun comes from solving that puzzle with a sheet that never stays yours for long. Everyone works with the same cut type each round, but every sheet is different and keeps moving around the table. You're constantly adapting to what someone else has left behind while deciding what will actually fit the tray you're building.

And those physical pieces matter after the game ends. Sort the bonbons into the included drawer boxes and keep the remaining sections of the sheets; they'll come back to the table when you play Permanent Mode.

A Puzzle You Can Feel

Bariloche makes the puzzle physical. You separate the chocolates yourself and watch the sheet shrink while your tray grows, simple, tactile and genuinely satisfying!

The Same Cut, Different Problems

Everyone follows the same cut type, but nobody is solving the same sheet. Your best move depends on what's in front of you, what fits your tray and what you're about to pass away.

Scoring That Changes Every Game

Different score boards reward different groups, patterns, arrangements and Speed Objectives, while special bonbons add their own twists. The thing you were chasing last game might be completely wrong for the next one.

Save It. Play It Again.

The pieces you separate aren't disposable. Store them by type in the four drawer boxes and keep the remaining sheet sections so they can return to the table in Permanent Mode.

SET THE TABLE

Choose one score board for the table and give each player a bonbon sheet. Add everyone's name to the score board and choose the starting player.

The board tells you what will matter for scoring this game, while the bonbon sheets give each player a different puzzle to work with. For your first game, the rules recommend Score Sheet A and Bonbon Sheets A and B.

CHOOSE THE CUT

The active player picks one cut type that is still available and marks off one of its uses. That becomes the cut everyone must make this round.

It's the same restriction for the whole table, but never the same problem. Each player is looking at a different sheet, so one cut can be exactly what you wanted while forcing someone else to rethink their plan.

This follows the actual rule that the active player chooses an available cut type and marks one usage.

SEPARATE & BUILD

At the same time, everyone separates a piece that follows the chosen cut type, taking it from an edge of their current sheet. Rotate the piece however you like, then add it to your growing tray.

New pieces must connect side-to-side, not just corner-to-corner, and once a piece is placed it stays there. Every addition changes the groups, patterns and spaces you'll be able to score later.

RACE, THEN PASS

After everyone places their piece, check the score board for any Speed Objectives. The first players to complete one earn the higher value; players who reach it in a later round can still earn the lower value.

If the game continues, pass the remaining bonbon sheet to the player on your left and pass the marker to the next active player. Your next puzzle begins with a sheet somebody else has already changed.
