There are 32 of 36 monsters illustrated, with the others in final stages.
The extra random tables and guidance on monsters still need to be added.
I will continue to add/tweak the layout and text to have it be the best product I can deliver.
The printer is scheduled to receive the finished files by August 15.
We expect to receive the books back from the printer during the first week of September, at which point shipping will begin.
The surveys will be sent out in the coming days.
The digital stretch goals of Action Item Mystery (AIM) and Solo Rules, along with the cross-collaboration with Raspberry Juice will also be done in and around the same time as shipping
Stickers and Quick Rules Cards are ordered and on their way.
The deadline to enter is September 11, and perhaps seeing some the new monsters might inspire you to join the jam and add your creativity to the community! There are links to templates, inspiration, designers, and other tools to help you along the way. There are lots of fun prizes to win!
Bug Busters Game
Fundamental to this update, is an apology for the delay. I had hoped to have the Bestiary zine out to you by this time. Part of this delay was due to another project that was concurrently being created - Bug Busters - where you play working class exterminators in the 90's, who are on the front lines of a secret alien invasion!
As a way of saying thanks for your patience, I wanted to share the working files for the Bug Busters game, which use the same core mechanic as Fang. It has over 250 pages of content, and is a very fulsome game!
The timing for both games going to print is at the same timeframe, and if you like what you see, there will be an opportunity to add it to your pledge when the shipping charge request for the Bestiary comes to you within the next few weeks.
That's all for now, and thank you again for your support, and allowing to make these fun little worlds!
