We've finally finished the pledge manager and are having it reviewed by the BackerKit team. Once we get their approval, smoke tests will be sent, and all surveys will be sent shortly afterwards.
As for production, we have had problems with our manufacturer due to the specific sizing and specifications for the enamel pins. Because the saddles on the riders have to perfectly match the saddles on the mounts, we've been working back and forth to make sure that it all works. This is the most complex enamel pin project we've ever done, and we want them to come out perfect.
We would also like to apologize for all the delays and our lack of communication with you all. This year has been a year of a lot of growth for us, but we definitely bit more than we could chew. We have been juggling with professional projects and personal and health issues throughout the whole year, and unfortunately we have been behind on many aspects of our small business, including this project. We're super proud of Cloud Chasers and are incredibly grateful for all your support and we do not want to take it for granted.

First off, we would like to apologize for our radio silence. These past few months have been intense with back to back conventions and personal events and we haven't been able to give the project the proper care it deserves. BUT! We're back and ready to get the project moving again.
We're currently working on the pledge manager and hope to have surveys out by early next week at the latest. We'll be adding the pin banner as a stretch goal in the pledge manager, so if enough of you are interested we'll send them out to production.

Hi Cloud Chasers, WE DID IT! The project ended and broke all of our records for previous crowdfunding projects! We're so grateful for all the support, we can't believe how well our little critters have resonated with you all đ
We just came back from AnthroCon (hence the radio silence, sorry!) and we're ready to work on the pledge manager to get those enamel pins flying out to you as soon as possible. Here's the rundown of what's coming:
1. We managed to fund all of the small enamel pins, but we didn't reach the pin banner nor the last Cloud Chaser pin. We might leave the mystery dragon for future projects, but we'll definitely add the pin banner as a stretch goal on the pledge manager! More info on that soon~
2. Unfortunately, we just learned today that USPS will be jacking up prices on packages shipped to and from Puerto Rico, so the actual shipping cost will be higher than the estimates on the project. We're not sure exactly what the actual costs will be but once the change comes to effect, we'll update you all.
3. We have a winner for the Keychain design: the Sinuous Sablescale won by a landslide! We'll send you pictures once we have the keychain done, thanks for participating!
4. For those who couldn't pledge during the project window, we'll be opening pre-orders soon!

Less than 48 Hours Left! + Creature Feature #4 & #5: The Awakened Axocoatl and the Sinuous Sablescale
Hi Cloud Chasers! We're less than two days away from the project ending, so if you've been on the fence, now's the time to take to the skies and pledge!
We're pretty close to unlocking all of the small enamel pins. The next two stretch goals are the topic of today's Creature Features: the Awakened Axocoatl and the Sinuous Sablescale.
The Awakened Axocoatl
Awakened Axocoatls start out their lives as tiny tadpoles living in estuaries. They mature into Axolotl-like creatures, hunting snails and using their shells as temporary homes. It is only through very harsh circumstances that Inlet Axolotls fully mature into Awakened Axocoalts. Whenever very strong storms hit their habitats, the stressful conditions cause them to metamorphose into these graceful dragons. As such, they have been synonymous with storms, and many cultures deem them as a bad omen.
The Sinuous Sablescale
One of the most dangerous Hidden Critters we've ever encountered, Sinuous Sablescales are cunning and intelligent creatures. Their obsidian scales are perfectly adapted to withstand incredibly high temperatures which allow them to seamlessly swim through lava. They gulp down molten rock and hold it in an internal sac in their chest cavity. They then spit it back out at incredible speeds at their prey, incapacitating it at a distance. Their aim is absolute.

Hi Cloud Chasers! We just unlocked the Prismatic Frillback enamel pin! We're more than halfway to unlocking all the smaller enamel pins, and if we keep going we'll be able to unlock the Pin Banner and Mystery Critter! Let's goooooo!!! âī¸âī¸âī¸
Anyway, here's the third Creature Feature, conveniently about the Prismatic Frillback!
Being one of the biggest Hidden Critters ever recorded, it comes as a big surprise to note how far off into our excursions we managed to discover this behemoth. The Prismatic Frillback can be best described as a flying whale of titanic proportions. True to their namesake, the frills on their backs look like feathers, and they allow these large creatures change colors and camouflage themselves high up in the skies. These frills also contain symbiotic photosynthesizing bacteria that give them sustenance.
They live their entire lives lazily drifting among slow moving clouds. These highly intelligent critters form deep relationships with each other, and theyâve developed a complex language composed of deep guttural growls that can be easily confused with distant thunder.
Frillbacks are inquisitive creatures who can form bonds with other species. Theyâve been recorded playing with Lofty Cloudweavers; the smaller dragons weave their wool around the Frillbacks and decorate them while the Frillbacks roll in midair. While they usually sleep while floating, Frillbacks sometimes land on sky islands to rest from long journeys.
