Use Up All Your Sick Days (and Red Panda Surprise) are traveling across China now from my factory to my warehouse. If everything is perfect, I will lock orders early next week, lock addresses mid-week, and start shipments at the end of next week or start of the next week. So if you want to add stuff, do so ASAP.
I talked with my factory about Use Up All Your Sick Days today. They were on May holiday for a week and everyone is back now. The Sick Day cards are all printed and they were doing the linen finish and laminating today. They said they'll print the shipping cartons next week. I don't know if they will pack the games next week or the week after or if we'll see more delays. But things are very close to completion! Yay!
Red Panda Surprise
Meanwhile, Pocketopia started and Red Panda Surprise is live and funded now! I talked to backerkit about fancy ways to save you shipping if you back both, but the solutions are pretty mundane. If you just want the Red Panda Surprise game and no freebees for backing multiple pocketopia games (free pins and stickers), I will put the game in the Sick Days pledge manager. If you do want the freebees, I will have an option in the Sick Days pledge manager to hold your shipment until after the Red Panda Surprise campaign ends and everything is done being manufactured. It's all in the process now, but the plushie will probably take the longest.

Otter was nominated for the Best General Card Game of 2025 by the UKGE judges! We'll find out if we won next week, but we have fierce competition from two other excellent games: FlipToons and Duel for Cardia! Best of luck to both!

Also, we are skipping both Tokyo Game Markets this year since they are a week before UKGE and Spiel. Sad, but I really don't want to burn out.
Hello! We just got the factory samples for Use Up All Your Sick Days! The factory is a month behind schedule, but all the meeples are done, and that's the part that normally takes the longest. Estimated shipping date is now late May or early June.
We have to start Red Panda Surprise May 7th. I'll chat with Backerkit and see if I can combine orders if you backed Sick Days already and Red Panda Surprise next month to save some shipping. They are being printed together, so the timing will line up well.
And we got the first few sketches for Dragon Mail! Please follow that campaign here. We got one of my favorite artists, @mangaurania to join the project! I think this one will be big!

Unless we get a lot more pre-orders, I'm only going to make 1000 deluxe editions including these little guys! Note that the meeples are double sided, one side is sad and the other is happy.
Every year we ask our community what animals/themes they want in our future games. Prior research brought us Otter, Capybara Crush, and the new characters in Use Up All Your Sick Days (Raccoon, Red Panda, and Axolotl had a lot of votes). So, what's next?

For 2026, we have been working hard on Dragon Mail, Vegan Cafe, and a magic pony solo/co-op climbing/shedding racing game that needs a good name. We have a ton of other designs jostling to be next on the agenda. But please comment below what else you would love to see and play!

Ideally: We will open the pledge manager next week, finish editing the rule book and card files in January, finish printing in March, and ship out in April. In less than ideal circumstances, we'll aim to deliver by the end of next year. We'll keep you updated transparently throughout the process. I want to thank you again for making 2025 our best year ever! Because of your support, I could leave the long commutes and classroom to working at home, raise my now 13-month-old kid, and focus on making quirky little card games. I look forward to another awesome year creating and playing with you!
