But the big news of course is that they have finally arrived in the US. The port right now is checking in the inventory from the container ship (thousands of containers). As they are evaluated they will be cleared from customs and then routed by rail to our distribution hub in Pennsylvania. The normal turn around time for this process is approximately two weeks (assuming there isn't a problem of some kind).
We are hoping that means that around 9/18 the books will start their journey to the distribution hub. Its a short distance and probably won't take more than a week to get there and be received. We are prepping the team at Blue Door so that they can step right in and begin shipping books out immediately upon inventory arriving.
So what does all that mean? Basically we believe that by the end of the month all remaining orders should begin shipping to backers. We will keep everyone updated on the progress as we move through the orders. By Halloween everyone should be enjoying these books!
If you have questions about your order, need to change your address, or need help with missing or damaged items that may have already shipped to you - please contact us at [email protected].
And if you are one of the 79 backers who has not filled out your shipping info yet - please do so here so we can ship your books ASAP:

For those of you waiting on orders with slipcovers, the boat bringing them to us is currently in the water. While it is difficult getting updates once the boat has left port, we are currently expecting them to arrive at the port in NY by the end of August. We will be working to get everything to Blue Door as quickly as possible so we can process the remaining orders and get them out to those backers, and we will be posting updates as we get solid information on their arrival to port and to our distribution partner.
We have received two of the Key Issue chrome cover reprints from the printer, and we have been in contact with them daily to get an ETA on the final book. They have experienced a shortage of the cover stock required to print those books, and they are working with the paper mill supplying them to get what they need to complete these books as swiftly as possible.
As more information comes in, we will pass along the information to you. If you are experiencing any issues with your that you received, please reach out to us at [email protected].
The factory expects that they will be able to complete the packaging and prepping by Monday and that the books will be dropped off at the shipping company immediately following. They have confirmed that as of today we are still looking at an expected US port delivery of 8/30.
The shipper has all of our information for the books to arrive at the port in New York and be shipped via rail to our distributor. They anticipate one week for receipt, customs clearance, and shipping to occur on the US side. That will mean that we should be able to start shipping the balance of the orders immediately upon receipt at our distribution partner.
We will continue to monitor the status of the shipping and provide additional updates as soon as we get them. Our hope is that by this time next week we are confirming the freight forwarder will have received the shipment and have them beginning the ocean freight process.
The printer anticipates that the inventory will be fully prepared for shipping within two weeks and the remaining books and slipcases will begin their ocean freight voyage to the US. We will keep you updated on their progress as we get additional information from the factory.
First - the soft cover trade paperbacks have shipped from our distributor as of this week. Everyone who ordered the soft covers and/or any of the ancillary items should have tracking and be on the lookout for packages coming to you. The email tracking may show up as "Blue Door" in your notices. Just in case you don't recognize the address it is coming from.
The Slipcases are a problem. We got them in and it was noticed immediately that most of them have a substantial factory flaw. The short version is that the way the metal finish was done - it is "wearing out" a spot and leaving a pretty substantial discoloration.
We could not ship these out the way they are. Fans want these to be perfect and we can't give everyone something we know isn't as good as it should be. So we had to scrap the run and have the factory re-make these. Fortunately they have all the tooling already set so it isn't going to take six months to make them but we did go back and forth to ensure that they were done correctly. It will take about four weeks plus about another six weeks worth of transit time. That means we are looking at around September 15th.
We know this news is frustrating. But we could not send out the flawed items to you. It wouldn't be right.
We are in touch with the factory regularly and will continue to update you as soon as we have more information about the completion of the new run of slipcases. If anyone has questions about your order please email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to answer whatever questions you have.
That means - we should be looking at receiving the books locally some time in mid April (estimate). Once the books are in our hands, we'll begin prepping packages for the first wave of fulfillment to backers.
The factory has also confirmed that the Terminator metal slipcases should be shipping to us from China by the end of April and expected to be on hand in the US by the end of June. We will keep everyone updated on the slipcase progress as soon as we are able.

Hi, I've searched my emails and see nothing about my digital version being available. Should I have received it by now? Thanks

Dear Dynamite Entertainment Team, Thank you very much for The Terminator 40th Anniversary Graphic Novel Collections. I have just received my Soft Trade Paperback collections of Volume 1, 2 & 3 along with the single issue of The Terminator #5 from Shalvey and Mulvey with stunning art work on the front cover. Thanks again Dynamite. I previously backed the Gargoyles and Darkwing Duck campaigns and while the items do take a while to arrive the quality has been fantastic and yet again exceeded expectation. Kind regards, Matthew

My books arrived today - credit where it’s due to you, they are a quality product and I’m very pleased with the result. I’ve been very critical over the period of this project and I think that criticism was justified given the delays and poor communication, but I have to concede that in the end, the books are great.

Dear Dynamite Entertainment, I was wondering if you could help me I have a a listing of item in transit for the The Terminator 40th Anniversary Graphic Novel Collections! as 65 days from Global Package Tracking website link from the tracking code I received through BackerKit. I was wondering if the package is still currently in transit. I have received my Gargoyle and DarkWing Duck Soft Trade Paperbacks previously without issue. Could you shed any light on this current issue? Kind regards, Matthew
