Gooooood morning to all my grasshoppers today! We are about half way through the timeline of this project, so I return to you all to give you the news and results on all the pin votes and whatnot!
As you already know, the winning millipede became an Ivory.
The snail, which had an OVERWHELMING majority love the painted snail design.
And the weevil, which just like the snail, had an overwhelming vote for the blue species!
Now, as you saw on the campaign page, after we reached €2,500 I promised to make alt colourways of some of the previous pins. So please welcome the giant rainforest mantis AND a velvet worm!
This makes a whole set of 8! A nice number I think :)
As you can see some of these switch between UV print and screenprint, and the exact method will be decided on during the sampling process according to my manus best choice. Thankfully their UV print is very clean and not grainy like some are, so in the end the only thing that will change is colour output and price (but that's for me to worry about and not you!)
Now I need to slink away and design some socks for you all to vote on :] If there's any specific style or species you'd like to see on them, please let me know!

Now for some other news!
I had the absolute joy to be invited as a guest to a fellow Irish artist's crowdfunder to create an illustration with so much detail it haunted me for a whole week.
This is Fate. A webcomic turned into physical books about a little dust bunny by Anthea West. Her work is highly regarded in our Irish community and her storytelling is fantastic.
