Quick update to say that we have sent out the remainder of the Pledge Manager Surveys! The pre-order store for Junk City is also now open.

We expect to close surveys Friday June 5th and charge cards Monday June 8th . We will follow up with another update before doing that.

Hello backers!

The pledge manager survey for Junk City and the projects that participated in the group shipping is ready to go out to backers!

Here are all of the projects included in this Pledge Manager Survey:

You will see all campaigns that you have backed listed as add-ons in your cart as well as any early backer incentives, meeples, and the Mothership/ Mausritter Cross-collab Zine. Note, due to the nature of the BackerKit backend structure of the group shipping, the only add-ons that are available for purchase are products associated with the Junk City campaign.

We have sent out the "smoke test" today, which is an initial test of the pledge manager survey sent out to 5% of backers to make sure there are no errors. We expect to send the rest of the surveys out in the next day or so, assuming there are no issues. The pre-order store for Junk City will also open at this time.

We expect to close surveys and lock cards in about a month. We will follow up with another update in the next few days once all surveys are sent with those lock order and card charge dates.

Hello everyone!

A quick update on the Pledge Manager Survey. I've been talking to our BackerKit rep most of today and the pledge manager has been reviewed and approved! They said that they would prefer we send the smoke test out early next week so the BackerKit team is in the office to address any issues, should they arise. We will post another update before we send out the "smoke test" to 5% of backers ahead of sending out all surveys.

Hi everyone, I'm back with this month's update on our progress on Junk City.

We're nearing the finishing line in terms of getting everything ready, with only a few larger tasks outstanding. The focus this month has been on finishing the remaining adventures. All adventures bar one are fully laid-out, play-tested and ready for the final proof-reading & editing phase.

In the Truth Machine, you'll explore an ant-haunted printing machine, running automatically to print the Truth and only the Truth.

And 2 Remote 2 Control is now fully complete, with four race tracks to face down.

I've also been very busy completing all of the other things we need to do before the box set can go to print. Designing the box cover, finalising the guidebook and last but not least, compiling the Item & Condition card sheets for each adventure. There are 120 (!) unique illustrations for the multitude of trash, treasure and terrible conditions you can collect on your adventures through Junk City.

 

We expect to have the Pledge Manager Survey out to backers by the end of next week! It has been more complex than anticipated with the group shipping, so that you so much for your patience while we make sure we have everything set up correctly. We will send out another update next week when surveys are sent out!
