The PDF for Extra Shift is completed! Public release will likely be on Tuesday.

Surveys have gone out, and most people are responding, but we have a few important ones we NEED done ASAP: Names, Weapons, Nemeses (Subcommander, Left Hand, Right Hand).

We need these to finalize the writing, and since we just got done with the first editing pass, it's all the more important we get things locked in since Layout is next.

So, you have until the 13th to get those surveys in if you want inclusion. 

This technically also goes for anyone who wants their credit in the book, though we'll be a little more loose there since it's the last step of layout.

Writing is almost complete, everything but the reward tiers like custom weapons and nemeses are done and going through editing right now. 

The 'preorder' store is up for late pledges, too, but you can really only get the PDF and print-on-demand there. Still, if you want to be sure you get it at the best price and missed the campaign, now's the time!

Hey all! 

Thanks so much for your support with our little sprint campaign experiment. We hit our goal, did a decent job for what was ultimately a week and a few lead-in emails, so I think that, scale accounted for, it was a success!

So, what's next? Well, we wait for payments to come in and get finalized, which takes a couple weeks. I'll put the preorder store up at some point in there, but that'll only be for the PDFs and PoDs alone. Once we have the final funding numbers and confirmed payments, we'll send out our survey, which will cover things like names to put in credits and whathaveyou, as well as the higher tier custom stuff like weapons and nemeses. 

In the meantime, our writing is almost done and we've got editing going simultaneously. Art just needs to be digitized. Layout will likely be the longest part, but it's a small book so it hopefully won't take too long. In an ideal world the PDF hits before the end of September, though in a more realistic one it may take until October. The Print-on-Demand will be 1-2 months after, depending on printer delays and proofing.

A little over halfway through the campaign and we hit the baseline funding!

We are, as all crowdfunders must say, incredibly grateful for the support and hope that we can keep this going! We still have a little over 3 days left, as of this posting, so plenty of time for more.

The first stretch goal is at $4000, which is a little bit of a ways away. Similarly, the social media goal is a bit away with less than 50 out of 100 reposts on Bluesky.

So, I'll make you all a deal. If we hit $2000 and 50 reposts, we'll call the difference split and I'll still put Umbral Patrons in the book. These are Patrons whose sorcerous side is born of a deal with the depths of a realm earthly shadows touch against, and their Freelancers gain a lot of tricky abilities to make combat more dynamic and keep the enemies on their toes.

Keep the pledges coming, and help us spread the word on social media, and you'll have that much more to choose from when Extra Shift delivers!
