600 backers! What an amazing turnout! Thank you to everyone for the support! That said, there's only one week left of Old-School Essentials Month and The OOZE crowdfunding campaign. So, If you were planning to back any of the many awesome projects, but haven't yet, be sure to do so this week!
As a thank you to all the backers for making this project materialize, I wanted to include one more little addition to the zine pack. I had many silly ideas for things to include as stretch goals, but this one was so simple and fun that I knew I'd regret not including it. Plus, reaching 600 backers is an achievement that deserves rewarding!
Did you know you can order custom POGs? Neither did I. As it turns out the dimensions of the milk cap fit neatly onto the hexes on the Out of the Ooze adventure map. Thus, it's a convenient token for tracking the position of the adventuring party as they try to out-run the ever-rising ooze. Not only is it a radical token of the Long-Ago Times—collect enough of these together and you've got yourself a simple conflict resolution syste—(™™™!!).
Tonight from 7:30PM to 9:30PM and tomorrow 9:00AM to 11AM there will be a live Discord AMA session with many OSE creators and collaborators. I will be there as well tonight, ready to answer questions. See you then!
As we get closer to unlocking the Augury of Oblivex PDF, I want to add a couple more goals to the list: pre-generated characters and virtual tabletop maps. There will be more physical items added to the list later on during the campaign as The OOZE continues to grow.
