GLORB utilizes WLED software, offering compatibility with a wide range of home integrations, including Home Assistant, HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Philips Hue, and more—and the list is continuously growing. Additionally, WLED supports various protocols like JSON, HTTP, BLYNK IoT, MQTT, Adalight, UDP, and Hyperion. While we can't guarantee that every integration will offer the same features, new capabilities are being added regularly. The SNRGY app allows for easy customization of the GLORB, while the possibilities for smart home integration are made possible through WLED and the support provided by various smart home platforms.

The GLORB's built in microphone uses algorithms to create visualizations of your music. This is a feature that we are making better with ongoing updates

To connect the GLORB to a ceiling, you can use a simple and effective method. Since the GLORB comes with a standard plug-style adapter, you will need a female plug connector to connect it to the ceiling's electrical wires. This female plug can be directly attached to the exposed wires from your ceiling using screw terminal blocks. Alternatively, if you have an old extension cord, you can repurpose it. Simply cut off the end of the extension cord and connect its wires to the ceiling cables using a screw terminal block. This method allows for a secure and reliable connection while maintaining flexibility in how you power your GLORB. Please note that any modifications to electrical wiring should be conducted with caution and by following local safety regulations. The GLORB is about 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter and weighs approximately 900 grams (2 lbs).

By using the SNRGY App you can customize light effects, animations, colours and light intensity of the GLORB. You can also get to the WLED controls through the app to play with many more animations that are not curated by us but stored locally on the GLORB.

The GLORB has a maximum brightness of 700 lumen.

The GLORB's LEDs are rated at 50k hours lifetime.

The GLORB is not waterproof, but it is water resistant through conformal coating of the electronics meaning that all the electronics are protected from water splashes. So if it starts to rain during your picnic, your GLORB will remain unharmed. In theory it could even be submerged and still function, but we would not recommend that.

For every LED there are 3 channels, so that makes 240 DMX channels in total for every GLORB.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
