What would be fun is an Old Hotel Resort with restaurant (s), shopping, and other things perhaps with that spell that skips time, and the players can find it, and relax a while, but sure you can introduce 'the drama' such as they can go swimming and find things aren't so safe on the beach nearby, or they could encounter any number of other possible dangers. Randomly determined by the GM, perhaps the hotel staff have a secret nefarious agenda. Lots of open-ended possibilities, and a unique location for the Purple Planet. You could even feature a restaurant called Planet (insert that planets equivalent of Hollywood here) where its movie stars or other entertainers are featured. This is a very rich idea that can be taken in so many directions so consider it food for thought. Obviously, for this to work it has to be hidden away or like the time skipping spell, something that appears only every so often.
