Hello everyone, First, I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping your plush orders and for not being more transparent when everything first happened. At the time, I was hoping I could get back on top of things quickly and avoid causing concern, but I ultimately fell further behind, and I recognize that clearer communication would have been much better for my situation but it was hard to find words for something so personal but;
Earlier this month, I was unexpectedly hit with a sudden double loss in my family. Both my Grandmother and Aunt passed in the same day, only hours apart. I needed time to step back, regroup, and get my life back into order before I could responsibly resume fulfillment. This was not a decision I took lightly but I needed the time to handle the sudden grief
I’m happy to share that shipping has now begun, though fulfillment will be moving at a slower pace than originally planned since I am now currently balancing a full-time job alongside my existing responsibilities, but they will be moving out weekly!
I will also be actively responding to emails regarding address changes to ensure orders ship to the correct location, I again would like to apologize for not doing so sooner but I'm finally home and able to it do so please make sure any updates are sent as soon as possible!
Please know that your order has not been forgotten, every backer will receive their plush! I’m grateful for the patience and support this community has shown me and Thank you again for backing this project and for your understanding.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to ship orders out before the holidays as I originally hoped, I overestimated how much I’d be able to focus on shipping while preparing for a long road trip home, and some other parts of the business had to take priority first. On top of that, getting all of the stock counted and properly put away took significantly longer than expected due to the heavy snow and my inexperience driving on such icy roads.
I do expect to begin shipping Cuddle Bugs in early January, as soon as I'm home, orders will go out in waves over the following weeks until everything is fulfilled! I’ll continue to post updates so you know exactly where things are at!
In the meantime, I’m also welcoming feedback on the Cuddle Bugs for the few orders that were picked up in person, it was so incredible to meet everyone and to see first hand how excited you guys are for these bugs! If you have any suggestions, concerns, or notice any issues, please feel free to email me directly, this feedback won't delay fulfillment, it’s just to help me improve and make future plush even better!

The time has finally arrived! After two long hectic months, every single Cuddle Bug shipment has safely made it home, and all the boxes are officially accounted for! That means it’s time to get things moving!
📦 Address Locking📦
I’ll be locking addresses very soon, so please double check that your shipping information is correct! This helps me finalize counts and make sure your plush goes exactly where it needs to, last thing we need is a lost cuddle bug!
I’ll be at Midwest Furfest this weekend, and yes, I'll be bringing Cuddle Bugs with me to sell! BUT don’t worry: none of the stock set aside for this project will be touched. Backers come first.
If you’ll be attending and would like to pick up your order in person, I’m happy to arrange that! Just keep in mind that I won’t have the freebie stickers with me, but I can mail those out afterward.
Fulfillment Timeline
Once I get home from the convention on December 9th, I’ll be jumping straight into fulfillment! There are 250 orders, and I’m handling everything myself, so the process may be a bit slower, especially with the holiday season starting up but that said, I’m going to do my absolute best to get everyone’s plush shipped fast!

The new Cuddle Bug plush finally have updated photos! Each little bug is looking extra soft, ready to wiggle their way into your arms and you can check out their updated pictures on the BackerKit preorder page (or my socials!) to see how they turned out!
I haven’t taken new photos of the weighted inserts just yet, since I don’t have all of them in hand, but they’re coming with the bulk order! Each Bug will include the removable weighted insert they were listed with, but you can grab extra bags in the preorder store! Make your Cuddle Bug perfect for you!!

Production is wrapping up! Soon, my manufacturer will be getting all the plushies ready to make their journey overseas!
As we move into this next phase, I’ll be charging cards for the final time. Don’t worry, you’ll still have time to update or fix your shipping address before your Cuddle Bugs are sent out! I’ll make sure to give everyone a heads up before addresses are locked just in case!
Once the plushes hit the water, I’ll post another update to let you know they’re on their way! Please keep in mind that overseas shipping can take a while, so there will still be a bit of a wait before they arrive safely in my hands. If everything goes smoothly, I’m hoping to arrange Midwest FurFest pickups for those attending, fingers crossed they arrive in time!
