Two-Eyed Tales Magazine # 3, launching September 1st on Kickstarter, is a 52-page magazine-format comic featuring a framing sequence and four other stories based on the fiction of HG Wells, but amped up to become black & white horror stories in the vein of 1960s and 1970s horror magazines like CREEPY and EERIE.
The framing sequence, called "Wells of Terror," is loosely based on HG Wells' story "The Inexperienced Ghost," but much has been changed about the story. For one thing, our protagonist is HG Wells himself, who wasn't in the original story. For another, our ghost, now a woman, tells of a bizarre afterlife full of strange wells connected to humanity's collective unconscious. This second issue focuses on horror stories based around the themes of green, blue, indigo, and violet. There are less than 48 hours left to get early bird discounts so check out the campaign here.
