I know it's been a minute, nearly a month...sheesh Where does the time go?
So, I'm here with another update! As you have probably guessed, there has been another slight delay. This delay is my own doing.
The closer I got to fulfillment, the more I realized how much it was bothering me that I decided not to do backing cards for this set. They just felt incomplete without them.
So after a lot of hemming and hawing and discussions with my spouse, I bit the bullet and decided to do backing cards after all.
Usually, this would have added probably another 2-3 months to my timeline, but with the help of my husband, family, and friends, we were able to get all the pins graded, backed, and packaged without compromising the October fulfillment deadline!
With that done, I can finally start shipping packages out - for real this time!
Once your package is shipped, you will receive a tracking number, so keep an eye out in your email for that over the next couple weeks.
Thank you all for your continued patience - I'm trying very hard to balance fulfillment for this campaign with prepping for my next campaign, BloodLust, which is launching THIS MONTH on Halloween, Oct. 31st!

I had been in the process of grading all the pins, but I'm learning just how much I despise doing that - it's tedious and time consuming and I admittedly tend to procrastinate on it. ^_^;;
So I decided not to grade all of them at once like I usually do, and try a new method where I will grade them as I fulfill each package. This will allow me to start shipping sooner, and hopefully will take less time in the long run.
This means that I will be locking addresses starting this coming Monday, Sept. 23rd. On Monday you will receive a notification in your email about it, and after that you will have 48 hours to make any last minute changes to your shipping address.

Sorry for the short notice, I got a bit sidetracked over the weekend and didn't get the chance to announce a stream date/time for the unboxing, so I'm doing it now!
Since today is Labor Day in the USA I figured it was the best time to do an unboxing even with short notice, since a lot of folks have today off.
I will be starting the stream in about 1 hour from posting this, at 3pm Central Time (1pm Pacific/2pm Mountain/4pm Eastern).
I will be opening up all the pins and giving viewers a first look at them.

Great news - I have all the pins now! However I've been very busy in August with 2 conventions, and finishing getting settled into my new home, so I haven't had a chance to look through them yet.
I also wanted to ask you guys if you are interested in doing a box opening livestream with the enamel pins sometime next week, so you guys can watch as I open them and get a first look at them before I start grading?
I've done this before for previous campaigns and it's been really fun. I did take a peek at a couple of the designs and they look SUPER GOOD.

I'm so sorry for the delay in getting a new update out to all of you. Between having a convention at the beginning of July & moving immediately afterwards & taking time to settle in, things have just been a little hectic in my personal life.
Thankfully my husband and I (and our pets!) are settling in nicely in our new home! I'm finally in a spot where I can start shifting gears back to working on the campaign.
Fulfillment Progress
I have good news - 4 out of our 10 pin designs were delivered yesterday! This partial shipment included Cyrus, Enoch, Gideon, and Zak. I will likely start grading those later this week.
The manufacturer is still working on the rest of the designs. I was not expecting them to take this long with them, and for that I do apologize, and appreciate your patience and understanding.
We are, however, still on track for the original time frame estimate of shipping in October - delays like these are the reason I add a lot of extra time buffer into my timelines!
Regarding Backing Cards:
Typically, as previous backers know, I include backing cards with all my enamel pins. However, I am not including backing cards for pins on this campaign, and likely won't be for any future campaigns unless stated otherwise.
I know this might disappoint some folks, and honestly it disappoints me too, however, I have to watch out for my physical health first. I have a chronic repetitive stress injury in my hand and after how much strain my last enamel pin campaign put on it just from putting on backing cards alone, I unfortunately have decided to forego them.
The good news is that removing this step from the fulfillment process will make shipping to SO much faster. Backing and bagging pins takes weeks of my time and removing that step will expedite things tremendously, which means that all of you can get your rewards sooner!

Last but not least, I took a few quick pics of the postcards. Apologies for the bad lighting and low quality, I have not had the chance to set up a proper photo studio yet. Still, I think they turned out great! I ended up deciding to do the profiles on the back of them.
