Project Update: Surveys on the Way!

Hey y'all! So, the surveys should be coming out within the next two days so everyone can pick their favorite deer pins and fun stickers. Speaking of stickers, at the behest of several people, I have now added an albino whitetail deer sticker!

What does this mean for the sticker pack? Well, I'd feel bad having it be 8/9 of the fellas, SO sticker packs now include 9 stickers with the addition of the albino whitetail. The price will not be changing for survey add-ons and for people who already bought them, but will be slightly more expensive in my Preorder Store.

Speaking of stickers, I also have some new stickers going into production. These started as a de-stressing exercise, but I fell in love with these funny pancakes, so now they're becoming real! These are available as an add-on in the surveys and Preorder Store (when that launches).

I also have these wormy love stickers <33333

Project Update: Red Brocket Deer is Sponsored! We've got every deer!!

Great news everyone, all eight pins have been unlocked!

I hope y'all didn't get spammed with too many 48 hours updates, I know I did. I originally planned this update to go out around lunch, then I realized it would get drowned out in everything. So! Here we are right before bed with all eight pins available.

You may realize I didn't have the option to sponsor a pin before. That's not something I ever expected anyone to do, so I never set up a sponsorship tier. A few days ago, someone messaged me and asked if they could sponsor the red brocket deer to ensure all the deer go into production. She's genuinely so kind for doing this, and I'm so grateful for allowing me to, in her words, "keep the herd together. No one is left behind!" Thank you again so so much, you're a truly wonderful person.

I didn't start this campaign expecting to unlock every pin, I thought I would maybe be able to make the Marsh Deer, but anything after that was wishful thinking. I am so blown away by everyone's support and love for the many silly little deer that captured my heart. Deer are such amazing creatures, and I'm grateful for everyone here with me celebrating the deer that inhabit our world.

That's it for me, thank you so much for reading til the end. Here's to the last two days of Pintopia!

Project Update: Albino White Tailed Deer Available

I have some good news for the home stretch!

I've received some bribes and work favors for the albino white-tailed deer pin. It has a special significance to my work because of a well known albino buck that used to live around here. So! Now that fella is available to all y'all too! The benefits of nepotism are available to everyone!

The other 7 albino deer recolors are still locked, so we've only got the lone white guy.

In some not-so-great news, as of this update we're back under funding for the Roe Deer pin. I believe we can get it back though, we've still got time!

Project Update: Roe Deer Unlocked!

Good news everyone!
We've unlocked the roe deer! This fluffy fella is now being made <3

Here he is with his real life version! This guy shows off their characteristic forked antlers and white rump beautifully!

We've got both pins for Europe now! The only fella remaining is, drum roll pleaseeee

The red brocket deer! This elusive little fella doesn't like having his picture taken, or being around people, or being seen in general. It's a shame though, they are so cute with such pretty eyes.

Project Update: January Summary and Pin Safari!

What a month huh?

As of publishing this, we've unlocked SIX deer, gained 69 backers, and shared a bunch of cool deer facts! I know I've said this plenty, but I do sincerely appreciate each and every one of y'all for making my campaign a reality <3

Y'all also helped my partner in pins Kai unlock their designs, and allowed me to get the hognose pin! I want to thank you all for your interest in both of our campaigns, and if you haven't already go check 'em out! If you back both of us, you get some cool free pins.

As y'all know, I'm a member of the banner Pin Safari, so I wanted to highlight some pin safari campaigns I really like. Clicking each pic takes you straight to the campaign!

Decade Dogs is a campaign highlighting the different eras of fashion with fun doggy pins! I absolutely adore the creativity in his designs, Jennifer is my favorite. He is currently so close to meeting his goal, so go check him out! He's also offering stickers, keychains, and buttons if you're feeling pinned out.

Trash Pack features one of my favorite noncervid animals, the opossum! She perfectly captured the sillyness of these marsupials with her funny and adorable pins. She also has a perfectly shaped opossum plushie with a trash can belly, lookit that tummy!

Smol Farm Pals is an adorable cottagecore campaign with pins that looks straight out of a storybook! I love the cozy vibes of all their pins, just look at those bunnies! She has a mix of big and mini pins available to fit anywhere on your board.

Cuddle Frogs is working to get their adorable froggy plush funded! It has an zippable mouth to store goodies in, and adorable flower eyes for lookin hard at ya. They still have early bird prices available, so get 'em while you can!

And last but not least is Yeen Vibes Only! A spunky enamel pin collection featuring everyone's favorite more-cat-than-dog, the hyena. These colorful pins perfectly capture the fun-loving and goofy side of these African not-puppies.

Thanks for reaching the bottom of the page! As a treat, here's a fun deer fact.

The Barbary stag of Africa is currently considered a subspecies of red deer. Current genetic research is showing that this subspecies is incredibly closely related to to other subspecies of red deer, the Corsican red deer and the Italian red deer. It is believed they may have originated from one population that was introduced into these separate regions.

Scientists are currently trying to determine how closely related they are, and some argue they should be their own species separate from the red deer. However, a lot more research is required to make that sort of conclusion.

(all that text and no 69 joke in sight, bless✨)
