Fulfillment is officially underway!

We had a few hiccups with customs - our pallet was shipped in a container of mixed products that ended up on the wrong end of an agricultural hold for a few weeks. But all products are now officially in-hand with both of our fulfillment partners and I've given the greenlight to start sending packages.

One year and 12 days ago, Huckleberry launched on BackerKit. We smashed our funding goal in less than 30 minutes, soon to be followed by a couple dozen stretch goals. Thanks to your support, hype, and generosity, Huckleberry has become a real physical game with over a thousand books being delivered across the world.

There were some speed bumps and learning curves along the way. (Freight shipping & customs especially were a far greater time sink than expected.) Considering how much new content was unlocked via stretch goals, I'm content to sending your rewards almost exactly a year after our project launch. With Huckleberry being my first TTRPG (and my first time bringing a product from conception to manufacturing to delivery), I'm thankful that you believed in me to get this done. 

You have my eternal gratitude.

I'm incredibly proud of the game we've created and I think you will be too. If you get your books and are looking for people to share the enthusiasm with, we have a growing outfit of Mavericks on the discord. Alternatively, I'd love for you to @ me on any platform - bluesky, insta, reddit, or wherever else you might hang out. I could use the dopamine boost! ;)

Backers in the US should begin receiving their books as early as next week, but it could take up to a month or so to finish fulfilment. If you do not receive your package by mid-November, please reach out to me and we'll make sure it's on it's way to you. My goal is for all US backers to receive their pledges well before Christmas.

Backers outside of the US will receive their packages *slightly* slower, as our UK fulfilment partner (Spiral Galaxy Games) are busy folks with a slightly longer queue to process before they can get our packages out the door. By slightly, I mean a couple days or weeks behind US backers, but certainly not months. Additionally, our humble list of "Rest of World" backers are a relatively small project for Spiral Galaxy. It won't take them long at all to process our orders once they can get started.

A Note to EU Backers:
Starting November 1st, the EU is (yet again) changing changing their customs rules to add an additional €2 flat duty to incoming packages, on top of the existing €3 duty. This will NOT result in a higher shipping fee for backers in the EU. If we cannot get our packages into the EU before this deadline, I will be covering the increased costs myself.
