Wanted to let you know that we have officially sent out the Keld Fallen surveys!

Over the next week, I’ll be getting our digital downloads ready for folks who picked up WSD: Fishing and Fiendish Forge add-ons. I’ll let everyone know once those digital downloads have been pushed out. Right now, I’m making some final updates to Fiendish Forge so it aligns with our printed version when manufacturing begins.

Please make sure you fill out your survey. You will not receive access to digital downloads until your survey is completed.

We have also opened up the Keld Fallen playtest server, where all of our playtest materials will be shared. The Discord link is included in your survey.

When joining the server, you’ll be given a questionnaire where you can enter the email you used when backing Keld Fallen. Please make sure you use the same email! If we cannot find your email, we won’t be able to approve your access. We’ll be going through approvals sometime this week.

As a friendly reminder, Keld Fallen is still actively being worked on. A few folks have thought this project would be released immediately, so I wanted to clarify that we are still working on the book, including book design, game design, art, and text formatting.

Content-wise, the writing is finished, and most of the maps are done, though some still need updates. Most of our creature art is also done. We are still working on getting everything into a finished, polished state, including stat blocks and new art assets. We do not have an ETA because we believe in an “it’s done when it’s done” philosophy. It won’t be done fast, but it’ll be done right.

Soon after folks start joining the server, we’ll be dropping our first playtest document: the Lore Document. This will give you a chance to learn more about the world and the game before we begin releasing additional playtest materials.

Future playtest documents will include areas, subclasses, stat blocks, and more. Please do not publicly distribute these playtest documents. We’ll be doing our best to keep these files secure, but if we find out the files are being leaked, it means we’ll have to take extra precautions, which hurts everyone. We really want to trust that folks will be responsible with these materials.

With that, go ahead and fill out your surveys, join the playtest server, and expect another update within the next week!
