I wanted to share a little progress we have for the SE cover. The artist HolBat has shared this sketch with me.

This go around instead of dictating the cover entirely, I asked the artist to read the book and pitch some ideas. This is what we got! :D
Once I get the final draft in I'll start the process for the print run and sending out your physical copies. Before that, if you're an ebook reader and see any typos/issues, please report that! (You can email me - isfriday at gmail).
If you've already read the book, one of the things you can do to support me the most is leave a review. Indie authors struggle with visibility more than anything else.
Yay! It was a really long Pride Month in a real shitty time, but I want to thank everyone for being so generous with their contributions to the campaign.
I have a little update about the cover art by Holbat.
I've chosen the concept on the left which will feature Zuri, Lina, and Andromeda in addition to the mining station & our lovely black hole.

Pledging means that you will be charged once the campaign ends, which is June 30th.
If you were exposed to space it would take you about a day to actually freeze. You would, however, have all of your air sucked out of your lungs immediately so you'd suffocate pretty quickly.
Funding at 2k means that I can go into production for special edition hardcovers which will feature a nice slip cover illustration by Yorsy Hernandez, a cloth bookmark, and sprayed edges!
You can read the ebook immediately after pledging! Then if you like it, you can decide to go all in for a print edition later this month. Wow!
The audiobook is our first stretch goal, which features two amazing queer voice actors spanning the 3 POVs of the book.
When you pledge at the highest tier, I will write you (or a character we discuss) into the platoon of the Marines (known as "the Guns") in book 2. This isn't for the faint of heart. Your character will do something badass in the set piece battle of the second book and even have an entire POV scene in the vein of Joe Abercrombie's novel The Heroes!
