Welcome to my first ever Backerkit campaign! My name is Jackal Cackle, and I'm a freelance multi-fandom artist! You can find out more about me in the "About the Artist" section!
✭✭✭ Please be sure to read through all the following information before making your pledge! There's a lot of important stuff in here for you, the backer, to know, so don't miss out on anything!
This campaign's goal is to fund two sets of 1" hard enamel pins inspired by abilities from a trilogy of video games about dragons! There's one stretch goal to get two additional designs made, rounding out each set to 5 pins each, for a total of 10 pins. Besides the pins, backers have the opportunity to get some add-on items to go alongside their main pledges!
These two sets of four pins will be created with the base funding goal! Backers will have the ability to choose individual pins from these 8 designs, or choose to get entire sets together by reaching the base funding goal!

Please be aware that this timeline is only an estimate for timeframes and are not set in stone. Several factors that can affect the timeline include, but are not limited to:
Survey Completion: if surveys are not completed in a timely manner, there may be delays with ordering the items present in this campaign.
Production: There may be delays regarding production, such as product errors, larger order quantities, color issues, etc. Enamel pins are largely created by hand, so they take time to produce!
In the event of a delay, I will do my best to keep the backers and community updated as often as possible!
All shipping fees will be sorted out during the survey part of the campaign. Please be aware that the following shipping prices are only estimates, and the final shipping costs may vary depending on the final total weight of your order. The more you get, the more the shipping costs are subject to be.
Estimated Shipping Costs:
United States: $6-$12
Canada & Mexico: $12-20
Everywhere Else: $16-$30
✭ Please make sure your shipping address and information are up-to-date and correct. I am not responsible for incorrectly entered addresses! Reminders will be sent before fulfillment begins to make sure everything is correct before sending out rewards.

✭ Due to GPSR laws, this campaign is not available for those in the EU. I am unfortunately unable to follow the strict regulations that these laws require for me to follow to sell & import items in the EU. You may get a family member, friend, etc. to back this project in your place and have them mail the items to you. I apologize for this inconvenience!
This section contains incredibly important information for all backers to be aware of. Please read this section carefully & thoroughly!
★General
► Pin Making Process: Please be aware that the enamel pin making process is still largely done by hand. Because of this, some pins may have minor imperfections, such as minor color differences or minor scuffs. I will do everything in my power to make sure the pins you receive are a clean and nice as they possibly can be. Regardless of this, though, your pins should not be falling apart when you receive them; see more info regarding this in "Damaged Pins" below. In the world of AI-generated images and "art", I hope you can see these possible minor imperfections as touches of love by a human hand.
★Backer Responsibilities
► Surveys: Surveys will be sent out once the campaign is complete, and it is your sole responsibility as a backer to fill the survey out in a timely manner in order to receive your rewards. Creators (aka me, Jackal) are only able to communicate with backers via project updates and reminder emails, so I will not be personally reminding any individual backers to fill out and complete their survey. Please make sure the email attached to your Backerkit account/pledge is able to reliably receive emails.
Once shipping as been completed, backers will be notified via a community update which will contain the final survey completion date; this date is the absolute latest your backer survey must be completed by.If your survey is not filled out by the date given in that community update, you will forfeit your rewards and I will not be providing a refund.
► Errors with Payments: Funds from Backerkit are collected approximately 2 weeks after the end of the campaign. If your payment method experiences some sort of error at that time, there will be opportunities to settle balances before cancellation and forfeiting policies take place:
Initial Payment Error: Backer pledges that have not been paid by the time fulfillment begins are subject to cancellation. You will not be charged and you will receive no rewards.
Shipping/Survey Payment Error: Backers who only have shipping/add-ons payment errors will have one (1) month after fulfillment is complete to settle the balances. If they are not paid within that timeframe, any payments received will not be refunded and your rewards will be forfeited.
To avoid these issues, please make sure your payment methods are up-to-date and keep a close eye on your email regarding community updates.
► Lost or Never Received Packages: It is not unheard of for packages to get lost in the mail, unfortunately. Backers will be notified via community update as packages are being sent out; on top of this, I will be sending out a community update specifying when I have mailed all packages out. If you do not receive your package within 1 month of this final shipping update, you will have an additional 1 month to let me know if your package has not arrived. After that final month, if I am not contacted about a possibly lost package, you will forfeit your rewards and no refund or replacement will be given.
► Damaged Pins: If the pins (or other items) in your package arrived damaged, you must contact me within the same 1 month timeframe as stated in "Lost or Never Received Packages".Please email me and provide proper pictures of the damaged products, including the damaged packaging if applicable. Pictures are necessary to pursue a claim with USPS to reimburse the damaged products. I will do what I can to solve the issue. However, I am not responsible for pins damaged by wear or use; pins damaged in this manner will not be replaced.

I love trying out new things, which includes doing this Backerkit campaign!
As I mentioned in the "Welcome" section, this is my first ever Backerkit campaign! I strive to make fan-art and merch for the niche fandoms I'm a part of, and this campaign is just the start of my merch journey :3 I hope to do more campaigns in the future for other fandom-related project ideas I have!
