Hey there friends!

First of all, I just wanted to give a huge ~*THANK YOU*~ for all of your patience and support! 💚🙏🏼 I know this update is a little later than I had planned, but I want to be fully transparent and let everyone know what's been going on behind the scenes. Let's get into this update~

📦 The delay grading pins:

Shortly after my last update, the pins finally arrived which was great news. But around the same time, my mom had to have emergency heart surgery so I wasn't able to grade the pins right away because I was at the hospital a lot. After she finally recovered and came back home, I had to vend at several conventions & outdoor festivals that kept me on the road for a few weeks (and out of cellphone service at the outdoor shows 😩). I've also been going through some personal life problems during all this, so it's been *A LOT* going on in the background. But I promise I have everything lined up for shipping ASAP!! 🙏🏼 

These arrived around the same time my mom was almost discharged from the hospital, so I haven't had much time to fully grade them all. But I'm so happy with how they look, check it out!! :)

There's one small change with the Egyptian Scarab Beetle pin~ When the original batch arrived, I wasn't really happy with how the black nickel plating looked against the darker body colors. So I asked my manufacturer if we could remake them in dyed black metal instead. Thankfully they were able to rush a new batch for me and these just arrived this past weekend! 

I think the dyed black version looks so much better!! I'm so glad I made this change before shipping these out to everyone 💖

I'll be turning the old black nickel "B-grade" pins into something really special soon 😻✨ Here's a sneak peak at some custom pins I've been experimenting with~ Posca markers and mica powder <3 

I went ahead and locked down addresses today with a 2 day notice to make any changes! If you need to update your shipping address, you'll get an email soon to confirm those details~

While I started grading these insect pins, I've also been organizing & grading rewards across the other campaigns that are all reaching the shipping phase together at the same time. I'm basically setting up one huge super efficient packing station for everything so I can just knock out shipping all at once. I'm hoping to get the first batch out by next week!! 🙏🏼

➡️ If you also ordered something from the Muerte & Magic campaign, those pins are almost done!! By the time I ship out the insect pins, those should arrive and I can finish the last batch of orders who combined shipping between multiple campaigns ^_^

Running several campaigns back-to-back definitely wasn't a part of my original plan. When I was invited to participate in the Super League of Science event, I was super excited and honored for the opportunity and decided to squeeze this insect pin campaign into my schedule. Looking back now, I really underestimated how much it would overlap with my other planned projects and how quickly all of the campaign work would blend together 😵‍💫

It's definitely been a learning experience, and one thing I've taken away from this is that I definitely won't be running back-to-back campaigns again. Moving forward, I want to make sure each project has the time and attention it deserves from start to finish and I'll be making that happen from here on out 🙏🏼 My #1 priority now is getting everyone's orders packaged and shipped out ASAP!! ^_^
