Exciting news on two fronts:

1) The survey smoke test worked (Thanks to the backers who responded so quickly!). So I've released the rest of the surveys. Please, please complete them as soon as you can, as that helps with readying the orders and dealing with the shipping. I'll be sending reminders periodically until they're all back. Be sure to specify  you want local pick up if you're planning to pick them up. If not, I'll either ship or we can get in touch and make other arrangements if you're local.
*** NOTE: There's a mistake on the additional 5 gold coins on the survey; it was included as an add-on but shouldn't have been, as they were only an incentive for the early bird backers. Those of you who already signed up for them will get them. If you were an early bird backer, you don't need to worry about them as an add-on. If you weren't, please don't choose that add-on. If I have left overs after everyone's coins are accounted for(incentive, deluxe, and/or bought separately), I may be able to hand some more out at pick-up day :)

2). Speaking of pick-up day...we are all set! It's going to be a little earlier than I thought, but pick-up day is SUNDAY, JUNE 14, 12-4 PM, at the Adventurer's Guild - 1010 Wesley Dr STE 111, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  I'll have a table or two there to deliver your games, and likely space to play or sit down and take a look at your game. So mark your calendars!

I'm hoping to deliver most/all of the local games that day. However, if you can't make it, feel free to message me here or by some other means and we can make arrangements. There may also be other opportunities to deliver them if I see you at another thing. Pick-up day is a chance to see the game community in action, a chance to talk with the designer (me), and a chance to break open your game and play with fellow backers or anyone else who wants to.

Hi, everyone!

Another quick update - the surveys have been approved by backerkit, and the next step is a smoke test, which is to send the surveys out to a small percentage of backers to make sure that they work. If you received one, please complete it!  If you didn't, no worries, it's a random sampling. Once the smoke test is done, I'll send the rest out and we'll move on to delivery :)

Hello, everyone-

We're moving closer and closer to delivery!
Backerkit is looking over a couple of things with my setup, and once they finish that, I'll be able to send out the surveys. That's your opportunity to tell me how you'd like your game delivered (pick up or shipping), working out shipping details, and whether you'd like to add anything to your pledge.
So your surveys should be out in the next week or so...I'll be sure to send another update to make sure you received it and are completing it.

For those of you who are local, this will mean choosing the local pickup option.
My plan is to have the pick-up day on Saturday, June 20 at the Adventurer's Guild in Mechanicsburg. So feel free to put a hold on your calendar if you can; once I confirm the date and time with them, I'll be sending another update on that. 

For those of you who aren't local and will be getting the games shipped, you'll be looking at that option on the survey. I believe since I picked 'charge for shipping later,' that we may have to work out the shipping details outside of backerkit. I'll get confirmation of that. 

Lastly, I'm planning to assemble the games over the next few weeks as I have time.

Hi, everyone!

So the big news is that I now have the printed materials from China (boxes, boards, punch out counters) and have everything that I need to assemble the games and deliver them to you :) When my schedule clears in the next couple of weeks, I'll be working on assembly. 

However, I'm still looking for a place to have a pick up event, so I'm working on that at present. 

The other piece of info is that I've been going back and forth with backerkit to set up the shipping; it's not as easy as I thought it would be! Once that's done, you'll be getting surveys and information for the pick up date. Failing that, I'll publicize it on facebook or via e-mail/text. 

We're still on track for an end of May/beginning of June distribution, there's just a couple more challenging steps in the way.

Hey everyone!

Apologies for taking a little longer to get you an update, but this one is worth the wait!

1) The lead story is that the game boxes, dice, pawns, and cardboard coins have arrived and are now sitting in my home office! This is the next to last step towards having the games ready.
2) I have approved estimates from my local printer for the remaining components. I'm expecting to pick those up this week or next. 
3) I'm expecting to assemble the games second week in April. 
4) I will also be exploring options for pick up, ideally a local game store like The Adventurer's Guild in Mechanicsburg. Failing that, it'll be at my house. Based on the surveys (see below), I'll be shipping games to folks who aren't local and/or who want that option instead of a pickup. The next update, and/or the survey should have that information. 
5) The next big step is to get those surveys out to you. Once I figure out some of the ins and outs of Backerkit's shipping setup, I'll be sending those out. Thanks again for your patience on that.

We are still on track for a mid-late May/early June pickup, depending on the availability of a pickup site. 
That will mean a fulfillment period of approximately 6 months after the campaign close.
