What an incredible first day, thank you so much for the support! I’m honestly thrilled with how the launch has gone so far.
Based on backer feedback, I’ve made a small but important improvement:
You can now pledge for BOTH print sizes.
Some folks wanted the larger table-friendly format as well as the compact bookshelf version, so I’ve added:
a pledge option that includes both sizes
Also new: All physical copies now include the PDF of the 6x9 version at no extra cost. Honestly, this was intended, and I just forgot.
Thanks again for the great suggestions — please keep them coming. Your feedback helps make the book better for everyone.
Let’s see if we can break the funding goal tomorrow!
Coming soon, some insight into my creative process, and why I chose this subject as well as a feature on Nick Heazell, the artist for some of the artwork inside.
Just a quick update on the state of the writing and the books:
CAN U DIG IT? is fully written and laid out. Proof copies have been printed to make sure coloring, formatting, and everything else is spot-on. I can say, the finished copies you will have in your hands are not these ones. there will be some colour correction, as well as a new Cybo-skull.
Regarding the artwork: some placeholders used during layout weren’t exactly legal to print and sell. The cover Cybo-Skull has already been replaced, and there are four more pieces that will be completed ASAP.
We’re currently waiting on four pieces of artwork from the incredible Nick Heazell. Nick is new to the RPG scene, but you may have seen his work around: he designed the Kablooey logo, contributed to Netcrawl by Horse Shark Games, and illustrated a few pieces for the 2025 Gongfoarmer's Almanac.
I’m thrilled to have him on board for this project. Keep an eye out for future projects — we have a few more in the works together, and they’re going to be just as wild.
