Merch:
I’m currently working on the Surveys and making sure everyone gets their stretch-goal bonuses and incentives! I’m almost done setting them up, and in a couple of days I will request a Survey check-up from the BackerKit team. Once everything is checked, the first batch of Surveys will be sent out. If all goes well, the rest of the Surveys will roll out shortly after!
Production:
TABOO is currently in the pre-production phase - there’s a lot of brainstorming happening! Since we’ve crowdfunded more than we anticipated, I’m able to give extra care and love to TABOO’s visuals, its background characters, the environment, and, of course, the creatures.

I’m also working on the first storyboard draft, which is the most important and therefore the scariest part of my process. This is where I figure out the pacing, composition, etc. I want to make sure it’s a solid foundation, which is why there will be several iterations of the storyboard (some of them will be featured in the Artbook!)..
Thankfully, I’m surrounded by talented storytellers who will help me by giving feedback, and I’m very grateful for that!

Thank you so much for backing us!! Now it’s time for our first production update:)
We'll be posting animation production + merch updates right here on BackerKit at the beginning of every month!

Merch:
- IMPORTANT: If your payment method was declined at the end of the campaign, you have until Sep 14th to fix this in your BackerKit account.
- Over the next 2 weeks, all payments from backers will be processed. Once payments are finalized, we'll follow up later with a survey for backers who need to provide shipping details & relevant info.
- If your pledge included a name in the credits, a prop & detail vote, or a character sketch choice, you'll be able to share the relevant info (e.g., preferred name, character name, etc.) in that same survey.
- Once we've collected all the necessary info, we'll start creating the merch.
- PAY OVER TIME: Please note - for backers paying over time, surveys will be sent out only after the full payment has gone through.
Production:
We're currently taking a break until mid-September and then we'll jump back into production!

This is (almost) it!! Only 3 HOURS left until TABOO ends!
