Hi Backers! Just a quick update today on the status of the survey and a last call for failed pledges.
Surveys & Vectoring Pins
Surveys are mostly set up, but I am still in the process of vectoring all of the pin artwork. This is going smoothly, just a bit time-consuming! While any changes to the artwork when vectoring are minor, I'd still like to share the final artwork here and use these vectors in the survey for the most accurate representation of the pins.
I'm estimating these will be completed next week, then a few more days for survey completion. So we're still on track for the survey being sent out mid-March! But possibly even a little sooner. :)
Failed Pledges
Today is the 14th day since campaign end, and I believe it's the last day to update your payment information if you have a failed pledge. There are still 30 failed pledges left. Please double-check your information/pledge if you're not sure if this applies to you!
However, BackerKit will still send a survey to backers with failed pledges. When you get your survey, you’ll have another opportunity to update your payment and complete your pledge.
Pre-order Reminder
And a quick reminder that the pre-order store is open for folks that missed the campaign! If you already backed the campaign, don't use the pre-order store—more add-ons can be added to your pledge when the survey comes.

We also hit our last $33,333 stretch goal—meaning the eye filler pins will be available as add-ons, and an eye will be gifted to all backers with a pledge totaling $45 or more! 👁️
Failed Pledges
Backerkit has begun processing payments and the credit card you have on file for BackerKit pledges will automatically be charged.
If your payment has failed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to fix your payment information. You have 14 days to correct your payment information!During that 14 day window, Backerkit will will retry your card automatically. There are quite a few failed pledges already, so if that applies to you, please fix your payment information sooner rather than later!
However, if you are unable to fix the issue in time, your pledge information will still be imported. You will have an opportunity to fix your payment again and go through with your pledge when surveys are sent out.
The pre-order store is open! If you missed the campaign or know someone who missed the campaign, head on over to the pre-order store to grab some spooky pins. The pre-order store does not include any campaign freebies/incentives, nor the small 2025 Moon Hollow pins, which are out of stock.
Reminder: if you are a backer, do not use the pre-order store! You will be charged for shipping twice if you do. The pre-order store is for those who missed the campaign.
Surveys
I've already begun setting up the backer survey, so expect that sometime in March. As a reminder, the survey is mandatory to receive your rewards. The survey is where you will select your pin designs, confirm your shipping address and pay your shipping fee. This is also an opportunity to pick up more add-ons (like the eye filler pins) if you're so inclined.

A quick update to start our final campaign countdown and show off the finalized art print artwork for both the Salesman and Miss Foxglove! Miss Foxglove looks so cute, and the Salesman got some tweaks to match her a little better. Both designs are available as add-ons.

Stretch Goal Recap / Everything We Unlocked 👁️

As we wind down, I'll begin turning my attention to vectoring any designs that aren't yet a vector, and getting the survey and pre-order store set up. Expect an celebration update after the campaign ends, and later, an update showcasing all final vector artwork before it's sent to manufacturers. 🪄
Note on Surveys
Your shipping fees and your pin design selections will be made after the campaign, in your BackerKit survey. Most folks probably know, but the survey is mandatory in order to receive your rewards. The plan is to send these sometime mid-March, but you'll be notified via updates if anything changes.
Backers who are using the "Pay Over Time" feature will not receive their surveys until the pledge is paid in full. Don't worry, I will keep you folks in mind in my item counts!
And of course, a big THANK YOU for your support, as always. I'm so happy with the level of success this campaign received this year. I was kind of assuming it'd be much smaller than my 2025 campaign, and it really wasn't all that much smaller—plus this project has even MORE pins.
The second 5x7 illustration print (Miss Foxglove) has made a lot of progress, but she still has a ways to go. Here she is so far...

I love where she's going, but she's missing some of the texture, contrasting shadows and color pop the Salesman illustration has—and of course, there's more general cleaning up to do. I'm also not quite happy with the look/proportions of the face (especially the mouth), and she's missing some jewelry, so expect changes there. I think her little shark teeth are very cute though. 😆

Remaining Stretch Goal 🦇
I'm also excited to say that we're safely past the $30,333 stretch goal! We're now around $31K raised, and closing in on our last stretch goal: little eye filler pins 👁️The filler pins will be available as add-ons when we hit $33,333, but 1 free mini eye will also be gifted to backers with pledges $45 and above!

I've decided the sharper, "reversed out" version will be the final design for these little eyes, as I think they are more striking and recognizable at a small size. I'm honestly hoping to wear one (or two) on my collar or lapels 👀

We've firmly passed the $28k stretch goal, and as of this update, we're $1,761 away from the next stretch goal: 2 new dangling pins! The plan originally was just 1 pin, but with this project's theme, it seemed proper to have a new pin for each type of metal.🌗

With 8 days left, I feel pretty confident we can hit this goal, so 2 new pledge tiers have been added:
A new highest tier that includes all initial pins + all current stretch goals. The initial 10 pin collection + 6 small pins, the infernal teacup, and the 2 new dangling pins. A total of 19 pins!! You can choose whichever standard, dangling, and small pins you like.

With the $30,333 stretch goal, both the Mirror and the Grimoire designs will be available as an option for dangling pins. This includes all pledge levels and add-ons (that include dangling pins) and these do not require an extra add-on purchase.
These 2 also bring the total of dangling pins to 6, which matches the number of standard pins, and the number of small pins... 6, 6, and 6 😱
New Stickers ⭐
Spooky cuties
I've finished the chibi artwork that I started day 1 of this campaign. These cuties have now been collected into a new sticker sheet! When adding a sticker sheet to your pledge, you can choose between the original sticker sheet featuring all of the initial pin designs, or this new, colorful chibi-centered design.

The "pre-launch follower" freebie is still the original "all initial pin designs" sticker sheet and there will not be an option to choose your sticker sheet, to keep the Pledge Manager a bit simpler.
Small Pin Set Clarification
You can choose any small pin designs you like for the "small pin set" add-on! You do not need to get 1 of each small pin. Feel free to get 6 green bottles, or 3 of each cameo, etc. I figured there was no reason why backers wouldn't be able to choose—other than it'll make the survey longer. The language on that add-on will be made more clear.
New Sample Photos
I posted some manufacturer sample photos before launch, but I now have some Teapot and Teacup pins in hand! Today I took some nicer photos of these designs to give you a sense of what the pins will look like—especially the copper plating + its color scheme. :)

What's Left: The Salesman illustration will need final tweaks, and the Miss Foxglove illustration needs to be completed. The sketch will be shared here soon, followed by the final artwork. 🙌
