Updates

WE DID IT Y'ALL! I am pleased to announce that %{project_title} has funded!!!

Now we sail into deeper and more exciting waters! 🦈 We're approaching our first stretch goal which is to put pretty edges on the paperback book. We are under $200 left to go for black and white, or $450 to make them and all the interior images color.

We can do this! Orains deserves to be in color!

Thanks for being part of this journey. The office kitties and I couldn't have funded without you, and we are so grateful. I cannot wait to share Orains with you all!

Last night I was able to finish the bulk of the formatting on Becoming Neptune's Cat. I have a dedication to add as well as will need to add all your lovely names for those who back at those tiers. I feel like I should say more, but am pretty exhausted as it's been a very busy several weeks and doesn't look like it's slowing anytime soon.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting very excited about TBB launching later this month. Stay tuned. I hope to have some pretties to show off soon.

Love cats (and sharks) always,
Kit

Thank you everyone who took the time to answer the poll. The majority has spoken and we'll be doing paperbacks (with pretty printed edges should we reach that stretch goal) and digital books. Since I have more Orains stories planned we'll save the hard covers for maybe an omnibus version at some point down the road.

Really appreciate your engagement and support. Until the next update...

Hello everyone!
I am working on putting the final touches on the campaign, and first off, I just want to say that I am so thankful that you are following this campaign. I absolutely LOVE writing about Orains and his humans and can't wait to share them with you.

I've been thinking and am wondering if there would be interest if I offered hardcover books (ideally with dust jackets) in this campaign. These hardcovers would be exclusive to Backerkit and my webstore (after the campaign).
