Hello Noop Troop! At the time of this campaign update, we have roughly $3k in failed pledges still processing and over 40 failed payments. This is rather high for this campaign, but I am hopeful our 40 failed pledges will stick with us!
Here's the current update for you guys:
1. Surveys are going out Friday en masse! Smoke Test surveys already issued
Some of you (around 35 or so) should have received the email to fill out your survey. Most of you have filled it out to completion which is great! There was an issue with the graphics not loading on some of the questions, but I believe it has been resolved! I will be firing off the 'send all surveys' tomorrow morning first thing! Please keep your eyes out for that email and please fill your survey out in a timely manner-- to COMPLETION! This means inputting your address and payment details so I can process any add-ons and shipping fees when the time comes. If you plan on moving, do not worry. You can update and change your address at any time up until I prepare to lock down addresses, which will not be until November/December ish at this time.
2.) Freebie Art Card teaser!
I am working behind the scenes with our assistant artist, Aerohail, to get the art card ready. She has put together a rough color draft and has given me permission to share it with you guys! Please take note this is just a draft, and the artwork is not finished yet! This is the art card that is FREE with all backers who pledged for at least 1 Noopy plush! At this time, these cards are NOT available for purchase during this campaign. My plan for these cards is to introduce them in a series, giving small tid-bits to his lore and how he came to Earth. For those who do not know, my hopeful plan in the future is to introduce comic illustrations of Noopy and Nu and hopefully someday pitch an animated series. I have the first 8 episodes already written out, with the first 2 finished. Unfortunately, this goal is very time and creativity-intensive, and I am forced to work on it in short bursts and during my 'down season'. But, I do hope that these cards will interest you guys further in learning about Noopy. The support in these campaigns will greatly help me to continue this objective.. I hope these little trinkets can help show my gratitude.
For the add-on Art Card done by me, Backers now have the choice of having their art card signed by me.
I've had a lot of interest in having the freebie art card signed by Aerohail, and I am brainstorming a way for this to be possible. The issue is that Aerohail is in the UK, and unfortunately the shipping expenses to have the cards shipped to her and then back to me would be extremely costly, more than I can safely budget for this campaign. Trust though that I will do whatever I can to try to have this be a possibility in the future.
*THIS JUST IN! Trinket Keychain sample arrived!*
As I was typing this update out, my package containing the trinket keychain samples arrived! Here is a first look at the charm! As a reminder: These are bulky and large. It's encouraged to hang it on a trinket shelf, or grid cube wall or anywhere that you can 'loop' the keychain onto. You can of course choose to put this on your backpack for conventions, but just bare in mind the size.
