This project was always about the people first, and the base funding goal, as well as future stretch goals, reflect that! Artists, especially nowadays, have been disrespected and discarded. We aim to help rectify some of that. We are proud to have the amazing creators on-board, and every so thankful to our Dastan team. To show our thanks, the base funding goal is solely relegated 100% to help our fellow creatives by giving them a joining bonus, as well as put money into a Project Dastan scholarship fund for future creators coming on board.

After ensuring that our creators are properly taken care of first, we set our first stretch goal towards raising sufficient funds for a pilot series of 6-8 episodes. This stretch goal is at $50,000, which seems daunting, but it will allow us to hire: - A high-end production studio - Professional camera and audio equipment - Dedicated staff for filming - Talented writers - Casting - Food - Studio rentals - Post production - And much more! To put it to perspective, most high-end TTRPG productions cost on average of $35,000. We're able to produce multiple episodes at a similar cost, while still ensuring we are equitable and above local rates.

Moonbeam simplifies earning with moonstones, virtual goods anyone can buy on our platform. For every Moonstone a fan gives a creator, the creator earn $0.01. For instance, if a fan gives a creator 100 moonstones, the creator earns $1. This ensures that creators keep 100% of what they’re given with no hidden fees or gimmicks. So, how does Moonbeam make money? Moonbeam makes money by selling packs of moonstones at various prices, incentivizing bulk purchases for greater value. For example, you can buy 750 moonstones for $9.99 or 4,250 moonstones for $49.99. You can use moonstones for subscriptions, donations, tips, merchandise sales, and more. This means creators always receive 100% of their earnings, making Moonbeam one of the only platforms where creators can sell their merchandise without paying any fees or cuts to the platform.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
