Hello there, friends! It’s been a little while since we last shared a production update with you; my apologies for that. A project of this size is a significant undertaking with many moving parts to manage. Over the past few months, a number of our contributors have unfortunately had unforeseen technical and medical issues that have slowed down writing on Beyond the Lighthouse. That being said, things are still steadily moving along behind the scenes.

At the moment, the Kingdom of Sienne is 100% complete, including its gorgeous layout design by Ennio! Ravanseil is about 95% completed, with only the Keeper’s Appendix left to be written, and then Ennio will be working his magic on that section as well. Niojike is about 75% written and edited. Many of the modules for the project are already completed, as are appendices of phenomena and artifacts, many of which were inspired by contributions from our backers, and all contributed NPCs have also been added into the various countries. Additionally, four of the five playable factions are fully fleshed out and written, including their mechanics, and are ready for Ennio’s layout design.

While the project is behind the anticipated schedule, this is ever a good reminder that we are all human, and the mental and physical health of our contributors takes priority above all else. It will take longer than we had initially planned to get into your waiting hands, but at the end of it, you will have a product that we are all so very proud to have created for you.
