After going back and forth with our manufacturer, we’ve narrowed down the direction for the caps container that will be included with the project.
The general construction will be based on a zippered clamshell-style case. Instead of a clear material, the exterior will feature custom printed artwork from our project, so the container itself becomes part of the overall design rather than a transparent storage case.
Important note: The photos shown here are stock reference images and are NOT the final product. They’re simply being used to show the general shape and construction we’re working toward.
That said, I also want to be transparent with you all the caps container has been a bit more difficult to finalize than expected. There are still a few moving parts on the manufacturing side, and at the moment this item is a little “up in the air” while we work through the best production method.
If we’re not able to get it properly dialed in with the manufacturer, I may end up producing these myself using sublimation methods to ensure we still deliver something high quality and true to the design vision.
We’re really happy with the direction overall, and I just want to make sure you’re all kept in the loop as we continue refining it and pushing toward final samples.

Production Progress Update: Sample Development & Quality Assurance
This is NOT what I want. Just to show you.
I want to share a quick production update as I continue working toward the COMPLETED physical sample of the Nuka‑Cola ITA backpack. Because this is a custom‑shaped design, it requires careful testing and multiple rounds of sampling to make sure the final product looks exactly how I envisioned it.
Right now, I’m focusing on the Nuka‑Cola version first, before moving on to Nuka‑Cola Quantum. I’m currently working with two different/ new manufacturers, each producing their own sample so I can evaluate who can best achieve the shape, structure, and details this project requires. I’m covering the cost of these samples out of pocket to ensure I can move quickly and choose the right partner before full production begins.
My goal is to have at least one early sample to show soon something that demonstrates the overall shape and concept, even if it’s not the final version yet. This process may take a couple rounds, but that’s completely normal for custom manufacturing, and I want to be transparent about each step to you all that I WILL achieve this even if this project ends I will continue to update you on every detail with this project. I have done MANY MANY successful projects alone in the last year.
I also want to reassure everyone: if you’ve seen my current designs and past products, you already know I hold myself to a high quality standard under my business name. I’m applying that same level of care, detail, and craftsmanship to this project. I won’t move forward with any manufacturer unless they can meet that standard.
I’m confident I’ll find the right partner to bring both Nuka‑Cola and Nuka‑Cola Quantum to life exactly the way I imagined. Thank you for your patience, trust, and excitement as I work through this stage it WILL succeed!
