ALL PACKAGES ARE DONE. The special edition hardback reprints arrived this weekend and -- you're not gonna believe this, but books were damaged again. However, fewer books were damaged, and enough were in good condition that I could fulfill backer packages.
I have two remaining local pickups, and everything else physical is either in a box (check your tracking number, updating sometime Monday) or delivered.
I was happy to be able to refund some backers for shipping when I found a lower cost option. This affected mostly international and heavy-box backers, and affected backers should have received an email alerting to the incoming refund if applicable.

The pallet of hardbacks arrived during Gen Con with a half-day's notice /hysterical giggling and sobbing/ but I was able to get someone over to sign for the delivery and receive the books, and then I unpacked books at 1 am, and now that Gen Con has finished, the hardbacks are going out!
At this point: - all ebook novels have been delivered (not the bonus ebook; see below) - all US-destination regular paperbacks have been shipped - all US-destination special edition paperbacks have been shipped - all US-destination regular hardbacks have been packed (if your tracking number is not showing as live yet, it will be scanned in tomorrow) - all remaining non-US packages without special edition hardbacks go out tomorrow (tracking numbers are uploaded)
Special edition hardbacks are still waiting on the reprint after the damaged shipment. I have printed labels and uploaded tracking numbers (which will update with actual shipping info when the labels are scanned in). When I receive the special edition hardbacks, I'll update and you can watch their progress via the tracking numbers.
The Bonus Ebook is yet to be sent. I need to finish one extra story for it, and with four live sales events in four weeks in three states, shipping stress, hospice care, and some other distractions, I made the decision to delay that until I could put more focus on it. Don't worry, it's coming! and I'll alert you when it's out.
Some backers, not all, may see another shipping charge this week. This is NOT an additional charge -- it's completing the shipping you were originally quoted, which for some reason was not charged in full.
Here's a typical example:
You can see that while shipping was quoted at $19.99, only $17 was charged. (Nope, no idea why. Support hasn't been able to identify a reason yet, either, though we're still looking.)
To be very clear, this is not for profit on my part; my actual shipping cost for this particular package is now $22.16, not 19.99, but I wasn't going to raise rates on anyone. I just also don't want to lose more money on each package!
The correction was needed at multiple shipping levels, both domestic and international.
Nearly every instance will show a charge of $2.99; I think there are a couple of 3.99 cases.
I am very sorry for the confusion of a second charge, but again, this is not charging more than you were quoted, just catching up to the original quote.
A very few backers may see a different 2.99 underpayment on their accounts, and we're still trying to figure out that one, too. In those few cases, the undercharge happened at the pledge level:
Instead of $159 for original pledge and add-ons, this backer was charged $156, leading to the current underpayment. Weird but true!
Don't worry; no one will be charged more than they were originally shown! These secondary charges are only bringing up to the original shown totals.
On the other hand, I have also refunded partial shipping to several backers who were charged more than necessary; each should have received a message about the refund.
