To be fair, the person handling this project at Blackbox is new to the company. However, communication has been so inconsistent and mixed that I’ve completely lost faith in letting Blackbox handle another large project. With that said, I want to sincerely apologize for the chaos and inconvenience this has caused. It’s been incredibly stressful for me, and I know it’s been frustrating for many of you as well.
Please note that until Blackbox sends me their tracking document, I have no way of tracking shipments. From what I’ve heard from customers, some have already received their game, some have received their game without tracking information, some have gotten tracking info the day before their game arrived, and many haven’t received anything at all. It’s been all over the place.
With this new information in mind:
- U.S. packages are shipping via USPS, so please wait until the 14th before reaching out.
- International orders are being shipped via Ascendia, so please wait until the 24th before reaching out.
Additionally, Blackbox does not provide a way for me to track packages. To the best of my knowledge, all orders have shipped except for those where payment information has not been corrected or shipping fees have not been paid. It seems that some people have already received their orders.
If you are in the US and have not received your package by 01/10, please submit a support request through Backerkit, and I will forward it to Blackbox to check the status of your package. For shipments outside the US, please wait until 01/22 before contacting me.
Important: Do not reach out for support via the comments, as I am unable to look up your order that way. If you need support, please submit a request through Backerkit.

If you have not yet resolved your payment method or resolved it after the shipping deadline, which was December 10th, your order will be shipped shortly after the main batch of orders go out.

If you pledged to any of the other tiers, shipping may have changed by a small amount, a large amount, or not at all, depending on your country. This happened less because of holiday rates and more because we are no longer shipping through DriveThruRPG and are now using Blackbox as our shipping partner for all tiers. This change was made because we decided to have the card game manufactured by ShuffledInk instead of DriveThruRPG, which means that shipping of the card game would have to be handled by our shipping partner (Blackbox). Blackbox has higher shipping rates than DriveThruRPG. Shipping estimates for all tiers aside from the ones listed above were originally estimated from an antiquated DriveThruRPG shipping chart.
Orders in the US and Australia are most affected by these price hikes, with US prices increasing by double from $4 to $8, and Australia prices increasing by $11.00. We realize this is a significant amount, so we will be processing refunds for anyone who requests one between now and December 9th. You can submit a refund request through Backerkit. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Our current shipping partner operates differently from our previous one, requiring us to have everything prepared well in advance. As a result, we will be locking shipping addresses today, with a 48-hour notice. If you need to update your address after this period, please contact me, and I can make the update manually.
At this time, we do not have an exact shipping date, as our shipping partner is unable to provide one. However, shipping will occur after Christmas and may even extend into the new year. I will post another update as soon as I have more concrete details.
Shipping charges will be processed on or shortly after December 2nd. Unfortunately, holiday shipping rates will still apply at that time. I will post an update on the day we charge cards so you will be aware. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below.
Please note that I will be traveling from November 27 to December 15 and again from December 22 to December 26. During these periods, my response times may be slower than usual.
