I wonder if they mean tariffs rather than sanctions?? Slovenia belongs to the EU so would have sanctions to prevent shipments to Russia and North Korea, for example. But it's hard to imagine the rest of the world being an issue beyond RIDICULOUS tariffs.
Interesting to note: Life Spirit is currently shipping their Everyday Women Tarot (Kickstarter project) to its 255 backers, apparently without mention of sanctions. Their update to that project on Oct. 21 shows some decks in individual boxes, and they talk about all the labour to check addresses, etc. They make it seem like it's shipping from their home, not some big fulfillment center. Something doesn't add up.
Also, Backerkit responded to my query by reaching out to Life Spirit on Oct. 20. 48 hours later, we got this update. So they do read SOME messages.
