The best way to secure your Big Hugs plush and add-on plushies (Bleep, Karma, Lil Freekz) is to support the campaign by pledging or ordering via the preorder store (available after the campaign)! Stock may be extremely limited after the campaign ends. Leftover stock will be made available on our store once fulfillment is completed.

Our Big Hugs line of plush are lightly weighted, at 2 lbs, with floppy and squishy bodies! Weight comes from pellets inside pouches in the belly, and sometimes in the paws. We've found 2lbs to be a perfect balance between being heavy enough for some comforting weight, but not too heavy for everyday carrying and/or cuddling. We understand this might be too light for some, and we welcome modifying our Big Hugs to add more weight! *Please note Karma, Bleep, and the Freekz are not weighted!

In progress prototypes will be shared during the campaign. Finalized prototypes will be shared before surveys are closed so you can make your choice(s) with confidence! Please keep an eye on updates!

Big Hugs are designed to have less stuffing for a more squishy cuddling experience, and to add some poseability to the plush! This means their stuffing may shift around when handled and cuddled. If you prefer more firm/fully stuffed plush, we welcome you to modify the plush to your liking!

The $10 Paprika Lil Freekz pre-launch reservation is not considered a pledge, so you will have to pick a pledge level in order to receive it. As long as you make a pledge on the same account you reserved Paprika on, she will automatically be included with your pledge. Surveys are sent after the campaign has concluded. It is not instant, and surveys are sent out in a staggered manner (so someone may receive their survey before you do!) We will make an announcement to confirm when surveys are being sent out. If you elected to Pay Over Time, you do not receive your survey until your payment plan has been paid in full. It can take up to 72 hours after your final payment to receive your survey.

We cannot combine campaign pledges, and preorder store orders. Please note you can add items to your pledge during the campaign, and when filling out your survey. We recommend adding items this way if you want everything in one shipment.

The Snug-Alongs Series 3 campaign is close to fulfillment! While we wait for them to be finished, we are working on the Big Hugs campaign. These will be in production while Snug-Alongs campaign items will begin to ship out to you. You will not be able to combine shipping between campaigns as the production and shipping dates will be many months apart.

Since this is a Big Hugs centered campaign, the other plush styles are add-ons only, meaning you will have to make a pledge while the campaign is active to add-on these plush for purchase. We have an enamel pin tier you can pledge to and add these plush as a lower cost option. Otherwise, these plush will also be available separately on the preorder store, but the preorder store will not be active until after the campaign is over. Please keep in mind preorder store orders cannot be combined with pledges! (See the 'I pledged during the campaign, and also ordered separately from the preorder store. After the campaign is over, a survey will be sent to your email that you can use to pick your chosen character/design. You can pledge for more items while the campaign is still active, and you can add additional items with your survey as well. If you utilized Pay Over Time, you do not receive your survey until your payment plan has been paid off. If you only pledged via the preorder store, you do not receive a survey. You already picked your designs when pledging via the preorder store. Please note we cannot change what add-on items are available to purchase.

The Big Hugs plush are made of minky and faux rabbit fur fabric. The pellets are made of plastic. Bleep is made of short faux rabbit fur fabric. Karma is made of faux rabbit fur fabric. The Lil Freekz are made of faux fur fabric. All items are made out of all brand new materials.

Due to the various plush shapes in this campaign causing different sizing, we aren't able to give a sweeping recommendation for clothes or other accessories. We also cannot endorse or guarantee that Build-a-Bear or other plushie brands' clothes and/or accessories will fit our plush. We recommend waiting until you receive your new friend to determine what can fit!

Yes, he comes with his hat! The hat is designed for Bleep, but it may fit our other Snuggle Paws plush, or other plush in general. The hat can only be bought with Bleep, and won't be sold separately!

Only Paprika is available as a single/open Lil Freek. The other Lil Freekz are only being sold as blind bags. We won't be selling those characters individually. However, we know the feeling of wanting a specific design from a blind bag, so we have a trading/selling/buying channel in our Discord server for our Lil Freekz! Please make sure to read the rules first! Some buyers may sell opened designs on other websites, as well, but buying off these websites is at your own discretion.

(FOR INTERNATIONAL [Non-USA] BACKERS ONLY) We do our best to find the most affordable international rates possible. Our available shipping methods have strict dimensional limits -- prices increase dramatically when these limits are passed. International pledges may be split and shipped into multiple packages to mitigate these high prices. Packages that cross international borders are subject to duty tax assessment. Duty tax and applicable fees are usually assessed on a per package basis, so please keep this in mind if you choose to back multiple Big Hugs/plush. We cannot answer any questions about what you may be charged via customs/VAT/duties/taxes, etc. Please be sure to research your local customs rules before ordering!

This will be announced at a later date via a project update. We will give ample warning. Please keep an eye out!

We anticipate being able to begin shipping by Summer 2027, but we will continue to give updates during the production process! We will send a Final Notice email for you to make final updates to your shipping address before we begin fulfillment. All orders will come with tracking! You will receive an email with your tracking number once your pledge has shipped. You can also confirm this information in your BackerKit account. Please note shipments will be done in batches, and are not “first come first served.” We appreciate your patience in advance! NOTE: Due to international postal limits, international orders may be split and shipped in multiple packages.

You are able to edit your shipping address via your survey at any time before shipment. You will receive a Final Notice email before we will lock shipping addresses. If you have difficulty updating your shipping address, please email [email protected].

There are no refunds or cancellations once you have committed to your pledge (once the campaign has ended) or placed an order on the preorder store. We will not accept returns, with the exception of receiving a defective item (ex. holes, popped seams, torn embroidery, missing parts such as ears or limbs, etc.) If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at [email protected] for assistance with a return/exchange.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

After the campaign ends, you'll receive a survey to pay for any applicable shipping fees, calculated based on your shipping address.

Pay Over Time allows you to split your pledge into multiple payments over a set period. Your card will be charged according to the payment schedule (four monthly payments). Only available for projects that enable this feature. Learn More »

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
