Updates

Good afternoon!

Now that we are all systems go on printing, we will be locking in orders on Friday 9th October and charging cards for those who haven’t paid yet. This is your last chance for any late pledges.

We are still firming up the timelines with the printers. Once we have those details nailed, we will then charge for shipping. We will let you know ahead of time when that is going to happen, and will also give you the heads up with what we anticipate the shipping costs will be.

It’s very exciting to be entering the latter stages of this project now and we will update you when we have that timeline secured.

Good morning!

A little later than planned, we are back to let you know the good news: Crystal Dynamics approved Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth and Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan book files and we are off to the printers!

This is a significant milestone that’s been a long time coming, and we are very grateful to everybody involved in making these projects a reality — yourselves included!

As we await confirmation of timelines from our print production partner, we will leave you with these words from The Ancient’s Den:

“It is done. Our destiny is fulfilled. For over 15 years The Ancient’s Den has safeguarded the Arcane Tomes of Nosgothic Lore…all as prelude to this moment. We have written extensively about the series, we’ve archived material, exposed cut content and we’ve even been lucky enough to contribute to a few games. Now the time is ripe for us to finally expose our latest endeavor. The Book of Nosgoth represents the culmination of years of work in the fandom and over the last few months it has evolved into a work we are proud to call our own and bequeath to the community. We hope it will stand testament to the passion, resilience and the eye for detail of the Legacy of Kain fans. We can’t wait for you all to see it and indulge your hunger.

Vae Victis!"

Good morning!

We are very excited to share that Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth is now with Crystal Dynamics and The Ancient’s Den for final approvals. This is a significant project milestone and we are very grateful for your patience and words of support throughout.

We will be in touch again next week once the team has had some time with the book, and we should be able to confirm when we are going to hit that print button!

Other items are in production already and we will share some imagery in the near future once we have them to share.

Have a wonderful week!

Hello!

We hope you are keeping well wherever you are!

We are very pleased to say that progress continues on both Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth and Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan and we are closer than ever to making this project a reality.

Since our last update, Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan has been through its last checks and final approvals, and is now being prepared for print. We expect to send it off to the printers at the end of the month. Other items like the dice and dice bag have been in production for awhile so that everything is ready at a similar time.

Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth is now also in an excellent place, with a complete book draft now being refined ahead of sharing with Crystal Dynamics for final approvals. All being well, we expect to send The Book of Nosgoth off to the printers at the end of next month.

We are awaiting an updated schedule from our print partners based on the plans above, and will update you in the next week or two once we have firmer dates. We know that Late September shipping isn’t going to be feasible, but we are doing all we can to get it as close as possible to that estimate. There are external factors that can always influence the dates we communicate, but we are keen to provide as accurate a picture as we can with you.

We are really excited to get Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth and Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan into your hands. It’s been a long journey, but the finish line is in sight and we are grateful to you all for your support.

Good morning, all!

Thank you for your response to our recent update and to everyone who has completed their survey!

We have seen the comments regarding pledges upgrades and have made some changes on the backend to allow upgrades to the Deluxe edition too. This should be available to you now by clicking on the reward under ‘Your Pledge Level’, as seen below:

Once you have clicked on that, you will be presented with a window pop-up displaying your pledge information. In the top right corner, you’ll see ‘Switch Pledge Levels?’ as indicated below:

From there, you will be presented with the upgrade options:

For those of you who backed us early with your Early Bird options, it’s a little more convoluted to enable upgrades at the Early Bird pricing. Please reach out to us in the comments and we will facilitate that change manually for you!

We have enabled Early Bird Add-On prices for those who previously backed an Early Bird tier. That should be available to you as normal through the Pre-Order Store/Survey.

We will be looking to lock in orders on the 1st July, so please make any changes by then!

Work continues on both Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth and Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan and we will update in due course but, for now, just know we are very grateful for your continued support and affording us the opportunity to work on this franchise. It’s a joy for so many of us.

Thank you!
