Almost at Stretch Goal #6!
Welcome to week 2 of the Monsterhearts: Welcome to Drowned Lake Backerkit campaign! We're only $279 CAD / $197 USD away from our next stretch goal, which will bring our game to Linux. 

Once we hit that, we'll reveal our next two upcoming stretch goals: one will add a brand-new feature to the game, and the other will bring even more content to our Monsterhearts 2 TTRPG supplement add-on!

More character customizations are here!
Thank you everyone who’s backed us and shown your support for this weird, wild little game. We’ve unlocked our fifth stretch goal, and that means more character customization options are coming your way! New hairstyles, face, and clothing options that will help your character look just how you imagine. 

Our next stretch goal will be making a Linux port of the game! Additionally, if we reach that, it will also reveal even more stretch goals, including a new special feature we haven’t even revealed yet! 

We’ve sold out of the Become an NPC tier, but there is still one Producer tier left, which includes our final become an NPC slot as part of the bigger reward!

Do you hear that? It’s partial voice acting!
We’re only on the second day of our campaign, and we’ve already met all four of our initial stretch goals!! You unlocked Steam Deck Playability, LATAM Spanish Localization, and Character Animations, and now partial voice acting for the game via language efforts: bringing our characters to life with laughter, gasps, sighs, and maybe even a growl or two.

This isn’t the last of our stretch goals, though! And we’ve just revealed our next two: more character customization options at $5000 and a Linux version of the game at $6000!

Lastly, there are now less than 30 Beta Tester Game Keys available, so if you want to play the game early, be sure to back now!

Blink. Grin. Gasp. Character animations are here!
It’s official: we’ve crashed through another big milestone, this time for our animation stretch goal! We can’t wait to bring our characters to life with blinking, emotions, and other small movements. 

Of course, animation is just part of what makes a character feel really present. The other part of that will be language efforts! We're only $64 from our next stretch goal, which will let us hire voice actors to gasp, laugh, and maybe growl for the many characters of Drowned Lake. 

If you haven’t backed yet, there’s no better time than now, because when we hit this next goal, we will reveal our first hidden stretch goal!

We did it! We’re localizing to LATAM Spanish!
Today has been such a whirlwind. You’re showing up and showing your support in a major way. Thank you so much for helping us realize this dream and make the best version of Monsterhearts we can!

Part of that dream is making sure as many people as possible get to play the game. And thanks to your support, we’ll be localizing Monsterhearts into LATAM Spanish! 

Our next stretch goal will bring animation to our characters: blinking, emotions, and more!

Project Update: We funded day one???? Now on to stretch goals!!!!

Did that really just happen?! It’s been a few hours and we’ve already hit our funding goal!!! It doesn’t feel real, but we’re so thankful for all of you showing up and showing your love and supporting our project. 

That means we’re well on our way to hitting our first stretch goal: making the game playable on Steam Deck if we hit $2500! Other upcoming stretch goals include a LATAM Spanish localization, character animation, and partial voice acting! We also have more secret stretch goals lined up that will be revealed if we hit all of these ones. 

Stay tuned and be sure to back early if you want a limited tier! We only have 1 Become an NPC tier left, and less than half of our Early Bird game keys. Thank you again, and let's keep that momentum going!
