Well good morning, my friends! Or, well, good whatever time of day it is for you!
The results of the latest make-a-fairy polls are in AND this project is 95% of the way to reaching the initial funding goal. My flabbers are beyond gasted! There were some steady climbs. Then there were those crazy leaps. Just... wow!
This couldn't have happened without all of your support. Whether you've shared and or pledged, hyped up this project and more, it couldn't have happened if people didn't believe in the project (and the fairies).
Okay, I'll stop with the ooshy gushy stuff for now and save most of that for the end celebration. There's still a week left, so anything can happen. I could reach the goal and then suddenly get unfunded again if people cancel. And people do cancel. And there's no judgement in that.
Though, I really hope no one cancels!
Anyways, I'm sure you're wondering what the results of the fairy animal companion polls were. Well, behold!
The winning...uh, winners:
1. Lizard and Mammalian tied. (Worry not, I have an idea based off of a dragon cat critter idea I've been playing around with mentally)
2. Mermaid Tail (heck yeah. So cute)
3. Unicorn Horn (Makes me super happy, honestly. I also have a friend who calls me Unicorn, soooo, yeah, super cool)
4. Insectoid Legs (That's going to be interesting. I think it'll still be cute!)
5. For necessary accessory, Cute friend won! For the secondary choices, there were votes for earrings, a sword, and an umbrella. There was also a comment suggestion for a sweater. I decided to incorporate all. I know just the way.
I've also finished my initial sketch of the first fairy. I've got quite the lore cooked up! I'll tell you all about that in a different update. Don't want this thing to get too long!
So, here they are! Creepy, yes?
I'll be adding more detail after I digitally ink this and so one. I'll be able to get the wings a little more symmetrical. And also show the secret in the crystal cavity... (It's another eye).
