Specifically, all North American non-VIP orders should now be out the door and on their way. You may have received a tracking notification last week, but the warehouse still needed to pack the orders so the tracking might not have shown movement until now. Some of those orders were VERY LARGE, requiring more than one parcel, so you may receive multiple tracking number emails.
The VIP orders were unfortunately on hold waiting for the foil pack of cards that had gotten lost in the mail from the factory. They rushed a replacement order which arrived last week, so those VIP boxes are now ready for assembly. We are pushing the warehouse to get those together and out the door as soon as they can (hopefully this week). We'll keep you posted on that status!
Once the VIP boxes are fully assembled, we'll then get all of the International orders over to our other fulfillment warehouse (who can better process Int'l orders directly), with the goal of having those out by the end of the month as well.
In the meantime, AMBASSADOR POINTS HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED!
If you missed the mention on the campaign page, every pledge includes a number of Ambassador Points equivalent to your final order total (including postage). These are unique reward points that can be collected and redeemed for discounts and rewards on our webstore, and a great way to support Magnetic Press further (while building up a collection of cool books and stuff in the process! Granted, you probably already loaded up on stuff during this sale, but there's always more...)

Like the other digital downloads, you will find it in your Backerkit downloads section. The only hitch I'm hoping we can avoid is the pack of cards that are supposed to be part of the VIP boxes... they were supposed to be delivered by August 31st, then ran a little late to be delivered by today, but there's now some confusion with the carrier about the warehouse address... 😣😓 We're trying desperately to get the post to complete the delivery before it is unceremoniously and unnecessarily returned to sender...
But we're thinking positive! If anything needs to be reevaluated next week, we'll let you know. Our goal is to get all orders out the door in the next couple of weeks, so any delays that would push that target will be addressed sternly.
Next up: Ambassador Points. We'll have those ready for you next week. WE PROMISE!

We hope you're having a great week! We're going to be taking a long weekend to visit family tomorrow, but we wanted to get all of the digital items distributed before we left. (We were hoping to get them out sooner in the week, but a hundred items is a lot to prepare...! We are definitely learning how to do things better for next year's Magnetic-Con... 😜)
If you are receiving any digital rewards (which I think includes everyone to some degree...?), then you should receive an email from Backerkit very shortly. You may have even already received it. If you don't get that email, you can also simply log into your Backerkit (at https://magnetic-con-23-book-and-vip-box.backerkit.com/) where you should see a big blue button in the middle of your page that says "Get Your Digital Downloads."
Click on that button and you will see a list of links to all of your digital items waiting for you. Because there are so many types of digital files and titles being distributed, you may have a mixture of Gumroad links, DrivethruRPG links, and Direct Downloads hosted by Backerkit. All of the external links include instructions for how to access your files or redeem your vouchers.
Tee shirt and Gift Card voucher codes must be used at checkout on our webstore. You are using those codes to negate the cost of your Tee and/or Gift Card at check out.
The only digital item that hasn't been distributed yet is the Magnetic-Con'23 Annual book. We're giving it one last proofread over the weekend and then we'll send those out to everyone next week (along with your earned Ambassador Points). 😊

We're still waiting on a few items to arrive from vendors (including the book which will be going to the printer on Tuesday), so fulfillment will likely begin shortly thereafter. We know that's a little longer to wait than originally expected, but we appreciate your support and patience. Some of you ordered some BIG BOXES with LOTS OF BOOKS, so we'll do our best to make sure those are packed securely. (In some cases, a few of you might have to receive multiple parcels...!)

Just a quick note to remind everyone that MAGNETIC-CON'23 is officially ending on FRIDAY!
If you haven't completed your survey or aren't done filling your basket with awesome swag and discounted titles, please do so before 5pm PST on Friday! At that point, we will be closing the store and locking all orders. You will receive a 48-hour notification from Backerkit to make any final changes to your order (payment info, address, etc), at which point you will not be able to make any more changes. We will then have Backerkit process any charges necessary first thing MONDAY MORNING.
Our goal is to then get all of that order data to our warehouse so that they can start shipping as soon as the Magnetic-Con'23 books arrive from the printer. While that appears to still be a couple of weeks out (sorry for the delay, some vendor issues had to be addressed), we want to fill that waiting time by getting all digital items distributed, if not by the end of next week then hopefully the week after that. Tee shirt vouchers should hopefully be ready to distribute next week as well.

Hey everyone! As mentioned in the last update, we got the go-ahead from Backerkit to send out the Smoke Test! As a reminder: that's a subset of the surveys sent to a random 5% of our backers... so 11 of you were randomly picked to be the first guinea pigs! 😊 Assuming everything works and no major bugs are uncovered in the next 24 hours, we should be able to send out the rest of the surveys tomorrow afternoon.
And, as promised, you'll have EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE ACCESS for 72 hours before we open the booth to the public!
The booth will stay open until Friday, August 18th, at which point we will lock orders and process any payments due.
