Project Update: Surveys sent -- check your email for your link!
Just a quick update to say that all surveys have now been sent as of this morning.
We were waiting for 75% of the smoke test surveys to come in, but only got about 60% in by this morning -- no detected bugs, however (which is the real purpose of the smoke test), so we went ahead and sent the rest this morning after all.

Project Update: Smoke Test Surveys Sent! All others to go out this weekend!
Remember how in the last update I was feeling kinda sick and (shamefully) slept through the conclusion of the campaign? Well, it turns out I had come down with a case of COVID that laid me out for the full week that followed... 😷 I'm in the clear now, but still catching up on everything that piled up during that 3-week absence... Between the traveling and then the self-quarantine, the entire month of May just disappeared in the blink of an eye!
But we've been catching up quickly this week, and we're happy to report that the Smoke Test Surveys have gone out this afternoon!
If you're not sure what the "Smoke Test" is, Backerkit sends a Beta draft of our surveys to about 10% of the backer list to make sure there aren't any hidden bugs, errors, or questions to address before sending out the full survey. They usually suggest waiting 24 hours or until 75% of those test survey are answered before sending out the rest, so if you're one of the lucky 10% to get your survey today, please fill it out!
As soon as we're comfortable that the surveys are solid, we'll send out the rest to everyone else. That'll likely happen at some point over the weekend, so expect them all to arrive on or before Monday. Keep an eye out for an email from "[email protected]" saying "Response Needed" in the subject line.

Project Update: Belated THANK YOU!
I know we're late on expressing this considering the campaign ended last night, but THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
To be honest, I've been sick since yesterday morning and I totally slept through the grand finale... that is so unlike me! :P Even today I'm pretty bedridden, but I just had to express our gratitude for making this such a great campaign.
What's next, you ask?
We'll get the Pledge Manager set up next week so that we can get surveys out to you shortly. The new book is done and it is going to the printer this week, along with the slipcase files. We should be all set to have everything ready to ship to you in October.

Project Update: The End is nigh! The campaign ends TOMORROW! One last goal revealed!
We have been pretty silent here with no true updates since the campaign launched -- I woefully admit that I failed to mention the fact that I would be traveling these past 2 weeks, with little anticipated internet access, hence the lack of correspondence here. We're back, however, and just in time for the big finale!
Since the last update, you've unlocked 3 bonus stretch goal items that will be added to EVERY PHYSICAL ORDER!
And we're less than $500 away from unlocking a FOURTH Bonus item --
With only one day left, we went ahead and revealed the FINAL STRETCH GOAL: a 2" metal Challenge Coin featuring artwork by Peach Momoko!
To be honest, I'm not sure if we'll hit that final goal -- these past 2 weeks have been flatter than usual, which may be due to our traveling, but who knows... $5k in the final day should be achievable, but based on the mathematical averages of the campaign over the past 3 weeks, hitting that final goal will be a real squeaker...
So do us a favor and tell all of your friends to join the campaign in this last day! We'd love to add another ASTER coin to your collection! 😎

Project Update: A great first day! Two Stretch Goals unlocked! More to come!
This is our first campaign launched on a Thursday (we normally launch on Tuesdays), so we're a little thrown off schedule by the sudden weekend, but what a nice way to end the week!
YOU HELPED US HIT OUR GOAL -- AND THEN SOME -- IN THE FIRST DAY!
Next up: STICKERS!
You may be thinking there's a big jump from the starting goal to the next stretch goal, but we intentionally use the first day's performance to set the stretch goal milestones so as to keep things revealed at a suitable pace throughout the campaign to keep things interesting... we have several more Bonus Freebies planned, but unlocking them will depend on the continued support of the campaign... SPREAD THE WORD and SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS to bring more people to the project! That way, everyone will benefit from unlocking more stuff!
While we were preparing this update just now, we also hit our 500 Backer Goal, too!
Now, all backers will get a digital wallpaper pack added to their pledge (at any tier)!
We have another goal set at 1000 Backers (all backer names/IDs included in the digital edition) and at 1500 Backers (producing a NEW 5-track soundtrack w/ FREE digital download). We'd love to see everything unlocked for you! But that only happens if we can bring more people to the party! It's an open invitation, so share with everyone you know!

Hello, you mentioned on the Story / front page that: "All pledges get a FREE digital download of the soundtrack as .mp3/.wav files!" but there is also a $5 add-on for the OST. Do we still need the add-on?

Hi! I backed the first book (and almost every magnetic book over teh last 2 years), and FOMO says: i need this slipcase. But 30 dollar for an empty case (without the goodies) seems a bit unfair for returning backers. what is the math on this? if i back the bundle, its 20 Dollar for the slipcase.

Hello! Would it be possible to get a numbered bookplate signed by Merwan through an add-on when the campaign ends or now? With the pledge and the add-ons that I have chosen, I already have everything else that is offered in the campaign, including an original by Merwan, that is why I was wondering if it would be possible to add the bookplate so that I could get it separately and not by purchasing the packs. Thank you!
